Great boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The rooms are very large for European standards and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help out with reservations, taxis or directions. I’ll definitely come back.

This was our second visit this year (and about the 4th overall). We happened to stay during the Tailor Swift weekend in Zurich and reasonably priced hotel rooms were a rarity. We were able to snag a small double room (probably due to a cancellation as the hotel was fully booked when we looked earlier) on their homepage. Check-in was a breeze.||We got one of the smaller (or smallest?) double rooms where the three of us (including our dog - the hotel is very dog friendly) just about found our space. The bathroom was also on the small side, but overall it was clean and cozy and did the trick for us. The proximity to the lake and its park was greatly appreciated by our dog for the early morning walk.||The breakfast offering is buffet-style with eggs prepared to order. The offering is good in terms of quality and quantity.||Even if it was a bit pricier than during our other stays (thanks to Taylor Swift), we were again happy with our stay and sad to hear that, according to the receptionist, the hotel would close in fall this year. Zurich looses a charming and reliable place to rest your head.

We arrived hours before check-in, and my 74 year old husband was very shaky after the long flight. When Christy at the registration desk saw him struggling up the stairs with his cane, she sat us on the porch with coffee and assured me that she’d have a room ready in half an hour. She was even faster than that and he was much better after resting in our comfortable room. The breakfast lady made sure that he had lots of coffee every morning to go with the delicious buffet offerings. The housekeeping steward helpfully brought me extra pillows when I asked for one to elevate my leg. This is a charming boutique hotel in a great location, but the people working there are the real stars! They even stepped out on the porch to wave goodbye to us. We would go back just to visit them!

Absolutely lovely hotel in Zürich. I only stayed one night, but the staff were immensely courteous, warm, friendly and accommodating. I wish I had booked for longer, and without a doubt I will stay at Seegarten next time I'm in town. P.S. The breakfast is delicious, and they're very proactive about accommodating to dietary requirements.

The Hotel Seegarten is a wonderful hotel with comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast. It is located conveniently by the lake promenade and also by a city tram that can take you to Old Town or Zurich HB. I definitely recommend and would stay here again.

I stayed here for 1 night. It located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with many locals. Got to Use the hotel bathing pass for a swim in lake. My room is on top floor facing inner courtyard. Quiet. Two fans are available in my room for a warm day. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Friendly staff. Lots of little boutiques and attractions around. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel. 30 mins safe and pleasant walk from train station.

Best kept secret in Zurich and one of my new favorite hotels. It’s a cute boutique hotel just a stone’s throw from a gorgeous lakeside walk and park. The staff was extremely friendly and they made us feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and they have excellent fans in the room to beat the heat. Excellent breaksfast in the morning that can be enjoyed on a charming covered terrace. Our trip was a quick weekend getaway from Lausanne and just one night at the hotel wasn’t enough! Next time we’ll stay a few days! Probably the best value for money in a hotel so far. Luxury, but not stuffy. Bonus : Great restaurant 50 meters away.

Yelp
Wow I cannot say enough great things about this place. First, its location close enough to the city center that you can walk everywhere and just a block from the water. The rooms are super clean and equipped with very nice amenities such as robes, a great blow dryer and everything is very clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was so peaceful to eat out on they deck. It even equips everyone with morning reading materials! For American travelers who don't speak strong German or French, we felt very comfortable and welcome. There were plenty of English translated materials, some of the staff spoke English and even some English tv channels. I would instantly stay here again and am not ready to leave.

Yelp
Traveled with our child and coordinated prior to booking that we would have a crib, which is why we booked here. There was not a crib in the room when we arrived but the front desk told us they would bring one up. We went out to dinner expecting it would be resolved. When we came back there was not a crib, and there was no one at the front desk to help. We reached out to the listed contact info and received no follow up until the next morning.

Yelp
Accommodations were good. Good size rooms for Europe. Great location and excellent service. We would definitely stay there again. A delicious breakfast was included with the rate. Short walk to the lake.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint little Zurich Hotel. We had a big room, and a rather tiny bathroom with a shower, but everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The front office and other staff were very friendly, competent and helpful. Last but not least, we loved the selection at the breakfast buffet! Specialty coffees and teas, croissants, freshly made fruit salad, cheeses and charcuterie, jams, honey, muesli... as far as the eye can see. The hotel is also conveniently located to the lake, with a 1 min walk to the promenade. The only downside is that it is a bit of a walk to get to the train station, but since we had warm and sunny weather, we can't complain. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I stayed for two nights at this hotel. It was nice and clean and did the job! No frills kind of place, though they had nice thick towels. My bath robe unfortunately was covered with wine and that made me uncomfortable.

Yelp
Lovely, small, quiet located hotel steps away from Zurich Lake, tram connections, shopping and fantastic dining. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast buffet is ample, fresh and very satisfying. If the The Latino restaurant is booked out you can still get their delicious food delivered to your room! I'm staying over 2 weeks at The Seegarten Hotel and would definitely next time in Zurich.
