Great hotel, location is amazing with easy access to town center with the tram and within walking distance too. Only downfall I would say is absence of Air Conditioning and lack of mosquito nets, it was quite hot end of May, so had to sleep with the window open and quite a few bugs and mosquitoes entered the room, however, the bed was one of the best ones I slept on by far, extremely comfortable and would recommend!

Perhaps I got the worst room? If you are over 175cm, expect to struggle in a tiny shower. The sink is so small that I couldn't fill up my water bottle, and no water was left in the room. The walls were paper thin, and I could hear every word being spoken beside me, and the neighbour's TV. There were also a lot of moths in the room which were helping themselves to my wool coat. When I turned the radiator on, no heat came on and the black out curtain was too narrow for the window, so it was pointless. The hotel has a great location, reception staff were friendly and check in was seamless but the room was terrible and there is no breakfast on offer.

This hotel no longer offers breakfast. In fact the hotel where I assume breakfast would have been taken is closed.||There is also no mini bar. ||There’s a Nespresso pod machine at reception but no milk.||We had a room on the 4th floor and for whatever reason our fridge locked from the inside. When we looked closer there was a key hole on the outside of the fridge, only problem was housekeeping and reception didn’t know where the key was. ||The room was clean and warm and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were terrible. They were feather and too soft and just collapsed when one placed their head on it.||The location was great and close to public transport.

This was our second visit this year (and about the 4th overall). We happened to stay during the Tailor Swift weekend in Zurich and reasonably priced hotel rooms were a rarity. We were able to snag a small double room (probably due to a cancellation as the hotel was fully booked when we looked earlier) on their homepage. Check-in was a breeze.||We got one of the smaller (or smallest?) double rooms where the three of us (including our dog - the hotel is very dog friendly) just about found our space. The bathroom was also on the small side, but overall it was clean and cozy and did the trick for us. The proximity to the lake and its park was greatly appreciated by our dog for the early morning walk.||The breakfast offering is buffet-style with eggs prepared to order. The offering is good in terms of quality and quantity.||Even if it was a bit pricier than during our other stays (thanks to Taylor Swift), we were again happy with our stay and sad to hear that, according to the receptionist, the hotel would close in fall this year. Zurich looses a charming and reliable place to rest your head.

This hotel is wonderful and went above our expectations. The rooms are very clean with fluffy comfortable beds. The shower was great with hot water and good pressure. We opened our windows every night and the surrounding area was quiet. Buffet breakfast was excellent with breads, jams, cereal, cheeses, meats, and more. Ideal location with an easy walk to trains and trams and the ability to walk to most of the city sights.|I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again as the staff was lovely, especially Kristin.  She made our stay comfortable and fun.

Google
Absolutely lovely hotel in Zürich. I only stayed one night, but the staff were immensely courteous, warm, friendly and accommodating. I wish I had booked for longer, and without a doubt I will stay at Seegarten next time I'm in town. P.S. The breakfast is delicious, and they're very proactive about accommodating to dietary requirements.

One of the loveliest places we’ve stayed in Zurich. The location is prime. The rooms are very comfortable with appropriate amenities. Access to Swimming. Staff awesome and very helpful. Great breakfast! Every one friendly and professional. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Seegarten again.

Best kept secret in Zurich and one of my new favorite hotels. It’s a cute boutique hotel just a stone’s throw from a gorgeous lakeside walk and park. The staff was extremely friendly and they made us feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and they have excellent fans in the room to beat the heat. Excellent breaksfast in the morning that can be enjoyed on a charming covered terrace. Our trip was a quick weekend getaway from Lausanne and just one night at the hotel wasn’t enough! Next time we’ll stay a few days! Probably the best value for money in a hotel so far. Luxury, but not stuffy. Bonus : Great restaurant 50 meters away.

Yelp
Wow I cannot say enough great things about this place. First, its location close enough to the city center that you can walk everywhere and just a block from the water. The rooms are super clean and equipped with very nice amenities such as robes, a great blow dryer and everything is very clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was so peaceful to eat out on they deck. It even equips everyone with morning reading materials! For American travelers who don't speak strong German or French, we felt very comfortable and welcome. There were plenty of English translated materials, some of the staff spoke English and even some English tv channels. I would instantly stay here again and am not ready to leave.

Yelp
Traveled with our child and coordinated prior to booking that we would have a crib, which is why we booked here. There was not a crib in the room when we arrived but the front desk told us they would bring one up. We went out to dinner expecting it would be resolved. When we came back there was not a crib, and there was no one at the front desk to help. We reached out to the listed contact info and received no follow up until the next morning.

Yelp
Accommodations were good. Good size rooms for Europe. Great location and excellent service. We would definitely stay there again. A delicious breakfast was included with the rate. Short walk to the lake.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint little Zurich Hotel. We had a big room, and a rather tiny bathroom with a shower, but everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The front office and other staff were very friendly, competent and helpful. Last but not least, we loved the selection at the breakfast buffet! Specialty coffees and teas, croissants, freshly made fruit salad, cheeses and charcuterie, jams, honey, muesli... as far as the eye can see. The hotel is also conveniently located to the lake, with a 1 min walk to the promenade. The only downside is that it is a bit of a walk to get to the train station, but since we had warm and sunny weather, we can't complain. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I stayed for two nights at this hotel. It was nice and clean and did the job! No frills kind of place, though they had nice thick towels. My bath robe unfortunately was covered with wine and that made me uncomfortable.

Yelp
Lovely, small, quiet located hotel steps away from Zurich Lake, tram connections, shopping and fantastic dining. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast buffet is ample, fresh and very satisfying. If the The Latino restaurant is booked out you can still get their delicious food delivered to your room! I'm staying over 2 weeks at The Seegarten Hotel and would definitely next time in Zurich.
