This was the best hotel We stayed at. Newer modern tasteful finish in a pretty little town. Generally quiet. We did hear the odd bit of road traffic. Our room was on the street side. Very close walk to food places. One block to dark area for viewing northern lights. Sign up at the desk for wakeup call if northern lights active. Great place to stay. Breakfast was full and also the best we had on our visit. Highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

This was my favorite hotel that we stayed in on out Icelnad ring road trip. So good that we started and finished here. The check in was great. The Hotel staff were polite and accommodating. The breakfast is killer here. The buffet alone for breakfast is worth staying. The rooms were clean and quiet. You are downtown Selfoss, so many food and drink option within walking distance. Ill be staying here again for certain.

I don't think this hotel even meets the three-star standard. After we were assigned room number 5xx, it felt like we were staying in an office building. First, this feels like an office converted into a hotel room. The ceiling above can be opened to lead directly to the upper floor. Second,in the bathroom, hand sanitizer shower gel and shampoo are all together in only one. It's like using it for everything – washing your hands, showering, and shampooing. This shouldn't be the experience of a three-star hotel. Third, there has a large entrance door with cracked glass, which felt very unsafe. Anyone could come and go through that door at will, and no one was watching over it. The room door wasn't very secure either, there were signs that it had been pried open. We need to use coat hangers to secure the door, in case someone opens it at night. Fourth, there wasn't even a bedside table. They used two stools as bedside tables. Overall impression: This is a 1-2 star standard hotel, it's not worth the price. unless you stay in one of their better rooms.

A wonderful place to stay! Great views, incredible breakfast bar. Highly recommend. My only issue was the hot water had a slight sulfur smell, but that’s because the water comes from the deep geothermal wells. So didn’t bother us. Would stay here again! Love from Kentucky!

A conveniently located hotel which looked fresh and modern. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious and overlooked.the church and river.|This is a popular stopover for coach parties making the lounge area and restaurant very noisy and busy. However there are lots of good restaurants very near by.|We learnt to go for breakfast late to a avoid the busy time. The hot options looked very unappetising but otherwise breakfast was OK and the waffle machine was a nice to have.

The hotel was not new but was well maintained. The carpark space was just enough. There was a staff stationed in the front desk who handled all the matters orderly. Lift service was available. One side of the hotel was facing the mountain and the bridge which was very pleasant. Some parts outside the building were under repair. The buffet breakfast was satisfactory. More staff would be better. Hygiene condition was fine. Next to the hotel were some eateries. Overall experience was very good.

Lovely new hotel. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms with big windows, desk and chair, 2 easy chairs with table. Plenty of hot water. Well laid out room with refrigerator, safe, TV, and decent lighting. Breakfast buffet was excellent! One of the best of my recent travels. I ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was also excellent. Highly recommend. Only issue was minor- in July, the entire building was too warm. In the room it wasn't an issue as windows could be opened, but with a room full of people at the buffet, it was a bit uncomfortable.

Nice, clean hotel. Staff is polite. They have a restaurant on premises and have happy hour. The breakfast buffet is included and I must say pretty excellent. So many offerings!! The dining and lobby area are very modern and nicely decorated. However the rooms or at least the one I was in are very dated. And the curtains did not keep the midnight sun out. They are large and the bathrooms are huge. Best shower in Iceland!! Just be careful of the hot water! It’s boiling hot. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s literally a one minute walk from the food hall, shopping etc. The town church is right behind the hotel on a riverwalk. With the location’s proximity to attractions and the airport its a nice hotel and a pretty good value. It was very quiet as well.
