Decent hotel located nearby rynek. Not a big hotel, inside a historical atmosphere. Room big enough, clean. Closed windows keeps the streetnoise outside. Breakfast is very good! No restaurant facility's in the evening, so check out in the city. So in the evening the hotel feels a little bit silence. Staff is helpfull, speaks English. Parkingspave behind the hotel.

Sorry to say but this hotel is a dump. |We stayed there four years ago and it was acceptable but to say it has gone down since is an understatement.|First room we got on third floor had two single beds and you had to bend down so you don’t bang your head. After we said we are leaving they upgraded us to another room; it was bigger but toilet didn’t flush and water was running constantly. Interior design has not been upgraded since 1960s. |We were only told that parking is available on the evening before we left; before that we struggled to find parking in the square. |Only good thing is the location and the bed was comfortable but will never stay there again!

I spent a week in Senator hotel, travelled with my husband and two kids (4 & 7 yrs old). ||We had a nice, quick transfer from Warsaw Airport to Zamosc, though it was quite a trip (155 miles ride) But hotel helped arrange it, so it went nice and fast.||||Hotel is located in the center of the historical Old Town, with a beautiful view from the rooms.||We didn't rent a car, but I've noticed a secured car park in the hotel patio - also a beautiful place, surrounded by trees, blooming flowers and history crawling from every corner. I can tell it's a family business, with kids running around and a lady owner taking care of the plants and herbs... so nice!||We got a nice spacious room, classy and clean. Beds were quite comfortable. There was also a coffee table set, with sofa and a chair. Bathroom - shiny and spotless!||Hotel restaurant is located in the basement, in a medieval castle style... little dark but very charming. The food was exquisite. The restaurant offers a old polish traditional cuisine, with Armenian and jewish dishes - waiter explained us, that in the past Zamosc was a very multicultural city. Also they had very tasty meals for kids - the staff was very helpful and patient with my children so thank you!||The receptionist was very helpful in arranging trips and visiting local attractions, also it turned out to be cheaper that way, because the hotel have some kind of an arrangement with them.||The hotel offers FREE wifi access, flat screen TV in rooms, and really they can arrange almost anything you our your travel companions need.||||Beautiful and homy place with great standard.

Spent two nights here exploring the town. It's a delightful area with plenty of history - some of it recent and tragic, some more safely locked in the distant past. ||||The reviews for the hotel here vary considerably. Overall I'd say go! Yes, the rooms aren't the most modern but a) it's only a 3 star and b) isn't it nice to stay somewhere with a bit of character? ||||The restaurant in the basement and the ground floor public areas are decorated in a whacky faux woodland style which is plain weird, but it does add character! The food, though, is very good (soups are excellent) and unusual, with lots of local dishes that are more traditional than the "traditional" dishes in many of the main square restaurants. When was the last time you had stuffed goose stomach, for example?!||||As it's in the old town and a converted Jewish merchant's house, it's fronted by a delightful covered colonnade where you can sit and rest from the sun or the rain. Traffic is light - you're more likely to hear passing pedestrians. ||||Ours was a standard room and big enough to land a jumbo jet. The bed was probably approaching the end of its useful life - a bit soft for me - but the thick walls and rear location meant there were no intrusive noises to interrupt a good night's sleep. ||||There are a couple of comments on weddings and the interruptions they cause. As I've said on other reviews, weddings (and christenings) are big events in Poland. It's a deeply traditional, family-oriented society and personally I rather like the fact that huge family groups come together. Wedding parties are generally very inclusive. They know they're noisy and if you're around you might just find yourself being invited in to share a toast with the happy couple. It's called the joys of travelling! ||||If the prospect of a wedding bothers you, find out before you book then look for an alternative - although you might struggle to find a decent hotel with nice surroundings that doesn't have a wedding on at some time of the year.

Zamosc is a gorgeous city and the Hotel Senator is right in the middle of the old city- step out of the door and there are stunning buildings and cobbled streets, the next square was th Rynek Wielki [Great Market] with its pastel coloured Armenian houses and the huge open area presided 0ver by the Town hall and surrounded by tiny shops, cafes and restaurants. We were able to park on the street outside without difficulty. ||The hotel is immaculate with a good choice of rooms. I was shown two,the one I chose was very little more expensive and was huge, more like a suite, with a long desk, a table, a settee plenty of storage space and a small entrance way leading to the bathroom. We were able to pay £59.21 in sterling on our card. We had a very good meal with drinks in the hotel restaurant for under £20.

Sandard 3* hotel, the service was quite good and friendly however, so was the food (just good ;)). Wifi is free and works fine. When I came the hotel was almost empty, I was the only guest in the hotel restaurant, and was a bit afraid about the food, but diner was excellent and I didn't have an impression that it was microwaved. On top I was given a wellcome glass of wine. I was supposed to stay in suite and must admit that room was quite big, but furniture was a bit outdated and used, they didn't provide the coffee/tea set and the view from the window was not the best I had, you can see on attached pics.||Next time I would probably choose different hotel, not cause this one was bad, but to check the others.||Hotel is ca 2 min from the old market which is beautiful and really worth seeing, shame dough it was so empty. They we saying that it's always like that before the season starts, hopefully it is more crowded during the summertime.||And if you want to see the area - it's ca 1 hr from Concentration camp in Majdanek (on Lublin suburbs) and ca 2 hrs from Lwow (Lviv) - old Polish, now since after the 2nd WW Ukrainian town.

Sadly, hotel is playing the location card mostly. Rooms are dark and cold, only one electric socket available to charge your phone/laptop.||Breakfast quite heavy, without too many choices. On Sunday no fresh bread.||Interior very old style, without any designer touch.|Plus for comfortable bed.||Stayed there only because other hotels didn’t have rooms and will probably not come back.|

Great location (then again, old Zamosc is not a bustling metropolis)! And then you enter a place that badly needs a facelift. I don't mind not having chrome and leather or the latest in interior design. I actually like hotels that don't look like every other hotel and have character. But this was less character than just somehow dusty (although the bathrooms were OK and clean). ||The room was very quiet and pretty comfy.||There's quite a bar/restaurant downstairs made to look like an old castle inn or something of the sort. True post-socialist kitsch, but my travel companion found ti to be rather charming. But they do serve good mulled wine.||B-fast was fine although, again, the dining room could use a serious face-lift.
