Hotel Senlis L'Aunette Cottage was absolutely wonderful. We only stayed one night, as it is near the airport, but I wish we could have stayed more. The grounds were idyllic, food was incredible, the acocomdations tidy and efficient. Even the pool was perfect. We traveled with our toddler and she was delighted to find the toys on the property. (When you travel with a little one, many priorities change!) The owners were SO sweet, and made us feel very welcome. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I offered a dream weekend to my wife and my son in a unique quiet and beautiful place, the staff took great care between the sun, the swimming pool, the breakfast and dinner in the garden, everything was perfect really.Beautiful services, a relaxing environment, a place with charm. My wife was charmed by the place.Thank you for everything. A quality welcome, adaptability in the arrival of the schedule which I appreciated and without constraints. A big thank you for your kindness and the nice attentions. Signed Mr. Sy

Amazing place. The couple who runs the place are so sweet and very accommodating. The food is amazing especially the desserts!!! I stayed there on business and the place was accommodating for groups size 10 or less. The hotel is very quaint and tucked away in a quiet surrounding neighborhood. Great for couples and families as well. Will definitely be returning.

A delightfully peaceful collection of old stone cottages housing a variety of rooms all quite individual in style. Rooms reasonably spacious and have all the basics. This is not grand luxe but more rustic charm. Run by a delightful couple (with two small children) nothing seems too much trouble. Breakfast is excellent, and other meals of good country-style cooking are available with pre-warning. There is a fair amount of private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and plenty of room to sit in the garden. Highly recommended...

It is a family owned beautiful Hotel in the near of Paris. The rooms are all renovated with a lot of love and passion. The cottage has a nice and natural garden,a heated outside Pool and a lovely restaurant. The Service is always very friendly and helpful! I will come back without a doubt!!

We stayed here on route back from the south of France to the UK. It’s in a great location, barely 5 minutes off the motorway and about 30 minutes from Paris. It is run by a friendly young family who made us feel welcome straight away. We were staying in a family ground floor room with our teenage daughters and dog and there was plenty of space in the very stylishly decorated room. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, we ate in the garden but the dining room was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. |This was a real gem of a find, if you, like us, want to avoid the Novotels and the boring motorway hotels then you can’t do better than breaking up your journey with a night or two here. We stayed two nights and went to visit the chateau chantilly and the local town of Senlis, which is lovely with its cobbled streets and beautiful buildings. Great dog walks in the forest nearby, all-in-all we highly recommend it.

All the reviews have this charming small hotel just right! We stayed here our last night in France-it’s only 20 minutes from the airport and is a lovely, peaceful and relaxing way to end your trip. The young couple who are in charge are just darling and friendly and made us feel right at home. Dinner was very good, as was breakfast. Why stay at some airport hotel with no character when your last evening can be this lovely!?! Highly recommend L’Aunette Cottage and it’s lovely gardens to end the perfect vacation! Besides, at dinner we saw the host picking tomatoes from his garden to serve that night!!! Food couldn’t be any fresher!

A truly lovely gem of a hotel. Warm friendly welcome by the owner, who’s wife had just had a baby earlier that day, but he was still supremely attentive even though he was clearly exhausted! The room we had was generously proportioned and beautifully furnished - a wonderful combination of subdued fresh calm and solid French antiques. Huge comfy bed, massive shower with good water pressure. An absolute delight. We just had a one night stopover on our way back to Calais from the Limousin, and it is perfectly placed. Less than 10 minutes off the A1, and 2 hours from the Eurotunnel. The one and only negative was that the prices were a bit high for our evening meal, which was good, simple fare in a lovely setting, but didn’t quite warrant the cost. We also had to pay 15€ for our dog, which seemed a bit steep. The gardens really are a delight. We didn’t use the pool, though it looked very inviting. For a longer stay we would take advantage of it, and of the croquet set. We will certainly return!
