Hotel Seri Malaysia Taiping

The room is ok but the door needs to be repaired, it's a bit tight. The atmosphere in the bathroom is also a bit dull, the water heater is noisy. I didn't even think of taking pictures while in the room. It's just for sleeping for one night. For me and my family, there's no problem.

The room was musty, lots of ants!!! The wall paint already peeled on one side..making us feel lke we are in a rm50 hotel room!! There's no minibar..and yet you are charging rm199 per night!! Breakfast buffet was bad only keutiau goreng and green nasi lemak( it seems nobody took it coz there's a heap of it!!) Only kueytiau is finished...seriously..maintain this hotel appropriately..u charge soo expensive for cheap quality!!

Good stay, match the price. We stayed in family room, and our room located in front of the pool. Fresh linen and pillow case. Our room acceptable clean (dont expect like 5 star hotel for this kind of price). Minor wear and tear and old building condition as expected. If you expect the condition like a 5 star go other places, dont expect high if you pay at low prices.

If you choose this hotel as your first choice, the review gonna be pages long.So better select this hotel only if there is no more place to stay, then you will sleep well. 😁

Facility not maintain in proper condition. Damage toilet door, wardrobe got no door, some electrical outlet not functioning. I had no issues about all this little things but I been hearing things in the ceiling at night.. (dragging / knocking) the hotel only have two level and we already at the second level.. if you not mentality strong enough about paranormal situation better avoid this hotel.

Don’t make Seri Malaysia Hotel, nationwide as your first choice. Just after there is no more hotel available then only you come to Seri Malaysia. Otherwise your review will be pages long.

To be fair to Hotel Seri Malaysia we must put the pro and con. Let's start with the pro.||PRO|The staffs was very polite and smiley.||The car park was ample and well lighted (open air). ||Breakfast buffet starts at 7am @ RM20|per pax.||The rooms on ground floor was very convenient as its next to the open air car park.||Cons||The pillows case has stains on them.||The pillow smelt like someone scalp.||The main door does not have an extra latch for security.||TV has only one channel.||No hairdryer available be it for loan or in the room.||The shower space is very dangerous and slippery. Definitely not safe for the elderly. Especially the step at the shower.||The bathroom door is creaky and hard to close.||The room is practically not sound proof at all. You can hear your next room sound like they are in your room.||Conclusion||They did have their good days, but I feel that it is time for Hotel Seri Malaysia Taiping to get itself refurbish.||Although the room rate per night is very cheap, but it definitely need to get upgraded. Because the condition of the room especially the shower area needs immediate upgrade.||Sorry to say it, but we definitely won't be back again unless it's upgraded.
