Hotel Seven Seventeen

“The worst hotel in Darjeeling( As per experience)” I booked this hotel for my relatives( sister & bro in law) by seeing the reviews. I personally have visited Darjeeling a lot of times and have never met such self obsessed staffs working in a hotel not even in a lodge. 1. The receptionist over the call and in person was very rude and not responsive towards the request we made for a view room, apart from that the restaurant staffs and reception staffs(both ladies) were not attentive for any request made. 2. No cleaning was done in the room for 3 nights stay, once the guests even submitted the keys and asked for it ,still when they were back in evening it wasn't done. 3. The manager was nice over the phone but I guess he never coordinated with the staffs to get the requisite done or maybe the staffs doesn't listen to him. Overall a pathetic hotel and worst of staffs in the name of 3 star / heritage hotel category. Not worth of money also, would not recommend to anyone. Be aware of other reviews..

Hotel is good and service is also good. Though they say it is near to Mall but you have to walk a long to reach the mall. For elderly and and even above 50+ is an issue. Food is superb which is served in their restaurant. We stayed in Suit room and were 3 in family. The couch which they gave was not worth sleeping. They also need to think on electrical sockets. In todays scenario where multiple mobile/tab/laptops are to be charged, they do not have adequate socket for charging. Not even for tea maker. We stayed in Room no 401, stayed in April Wk4 , 2025.

Excellent stay ,I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

It was fun to stay at the top floor and get so many food options. Rooms were clean and tidy. We had a lot of good times here. The receptionist were kind and super friendly.

Excellent hotel atmosphere with supportive staffs, including reception. |Location was very nearly to Mall as well as market. |Food quality so testy and hygienic.|One staff name Rahul always smiling face with courteous.

The best as per the prices. Service was amazing, food was good and a very warm ambience it had. The view from our room was great!! Highly recommended

Rooms are very good, clean and service is also very good. Behaviour of the hotel staff was nice. They were very helpful. Overall a very good experience. Enjoyed staying in this hotel.|I would highly recommend the hotel. This is value for money.

Stayed in Room no. 505, the virw of the bustling town & partial mountain view are perks. Well kept room, but the geyser was non functional. Room service was decent. Going by the standards of hotels im Darjeeling in a budget, this one definitely is a very good find. But since it has no elevator, would not recommend it for elderly people or anybody having too much problem climbing stairs. The property has there own restaurant that serves decent quality food. Mall is not very far away.
