I hate writing reviews that are negative, but in this instance I truly needed to address the situation. We checked into hotel around 4:30pm, the woman at the desk while looking up our reservation, was on her phone, barely acknowledging us, which is something unfortunately I have gotten used to at stores etc. Once checked in, we entered our room and went to turn TV on and the remote didn't work, (room 104) went to front desk and told the same woman, she went on to the walkie talkie and told the maintenance person, so tried to get back into room, key didn't work, my husband opened door and I tried the other key, that didn't work, so the woman at front desk tried with new keys, they worked and didn't work. That being said finally got a key to work, the room was small, but honestly that did not bother us, the bed was clean, however, was not comfortable. We had reservations for 6pm for dinner, so when we left we told the gal at desk they could come in and put new batteries in the remote. We got back at 8pm and the remote was never fixed, when going to desk (new woman) she said can't help you until morning. We were leaving in AM so guess what, at 805 we went to bed with absolutely nothing else to do. There was no hot water, for at least 10 minutes upon running it, and it was not really very hot, So with all that said, I really want to say that I've been in the service industry for my entire life, I believe when training your service people they should be trained to be friendly, courteous, and helpful. I found your front dest person almost dismissive with an attitude of indifference (being on her phone while checking us in) . Your hotel, considering it offers no more than a bed to sleep in, the front desk people should be cheerful and helpful without making people feel like we were inconveniencing them.
