Hotel Sidhartha Agra

We stayed in this hotel in October 2025 for 2 night. It was a wonderful experience for us. Location wise it is superb. The west gate of taj mahal is a walking distance of 2 min only & that of East/vip gate for night viewing of taj mahal is also walking distance of 10 min. The staff are very well behaved. Rooms are of decent size with clean bathroom. The bed was large enough to accommodate 3 person.Only thing which we don't like was the window ac. It will be better if there is split AC .I have to mention that Taj Mahal can be seen from their rooftop.Another best part was it's resturant. Although it is a pure veg restaurant, the food they offer were very much tasty & of good quality. Finally the owner of this hotel is a very gentle person & co-operative too.

I recently stayed at Hotel Sidhartha, and while the hotel itself is decent with helpful staff, I had a troubling experience that left me feeling unsafe. On one occasion, I left my luggage in the room and went out. When I returned, I found that someone had entered my room, unpacked their own luggage, and was staying there. The person had somehow managed to unlock my room. This was a serious security breach, and I was understandably concerned. When I reported the issue to the management and staff, their response was alarmingly casual. They simply said, “Ok, sir, hota hai” (It happens). I don’t know if any action was actually taken, and that lack of urgency made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. While I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in general, this particular incident raised serious concerns about the safety and security at the hotel. I can't say I would feel comfortable staying here again after this experience.

This is a reasonably priced and well-located hotel in a brilliant situation, effectively within the infrastructure of the miraculous Taj Mahal. Rooms are comfortable and everything works. The star of the show is the charming manager Raj, who answered every question and was a joy to converse with. Overall experience: extremely pleasant.

Located at the westgate entrance of Taj, peaceful and secured location. Rooms are around 140 sqft, clean. Restaurant is Veg only but food was very good at a reasonable price. As it's inside the Taj entrance police checkpost cars will drop you at a distance of 50 meters and you can ask the hotel to send someone to help with luggage. Rooftop is accessible by asking keys from the reception but no dining options up there.

The hotel located very close to Taj Mahal and service of hotel is very good. The Hotel staff are friendly and restaurant also server good and tasty food.

1. Room - very small, A/C is very old and not functioning well 2. Hot water - Does not turn on the boiler through out the day. 3. Breakfast included but they said, 1st toast is complementary and the 2nd toast is chargeable. This is very unfair. 4. Location - near to Tajmahal

I recently stayed at Hotel Sidharth in Agra and had a mixed experience. The hotel is conveniently located a stone's throw away from the Taj Mahal, which provided 24-hour police security—a great plus for families. The hotel was filled with many foreign tourists, adding to its lively atmosphere. While the rooms were generally clean and comfortable, I did encounter an issue with the plumbing. The basin pipe in the bathroom was not properly fixed, and the bathroom was stinky at times, though it was manageable with the exhaust fan. On the positive side, I was pleasantly surprised by an upgrade from a regular room to an air-conditioned room. The hotel also offers a fantastic free luggage storage service after check-out, which was incredibly convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel owner, Mr. Sidharth, ensured a welcoming environment. Despite our late check-in, Mr. Sidharth arranged for one of his staff members to take a family picture of the Taj Mahal from the hotel terrace. The on-site restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes, with a menu that caters well to vegetarians—a plus in a city known for its Mughal heritage. Additionally, the nearby market offers economical handicraft purchases, saving both time and money compared to visiting more popular markets like Sadar Bazar or Kinari Bazar. I stayed for two days based on the hotel's overwhelming reviews, and while it may not be a 3-star or 4-star hotel, its services are comparable. Considering the price, the negatives can be overlooked. The rating should definitely be upgraded to at least 3-star, not 1-star. Overall, Hotel Sidharth has some great services to offer.

We booked 2 rooms and both were very clean, staffs were polite and helpful. Taj mahal is just at the walking distance from the place. You can surely consider this place if you are coming to Agra.
