Hotel Sierra Dorada

This is a nice and quiet hotel in a good location in Ayacucho. Its not in the main square but in a more residential area, besides it isnt far from the centre anyway. Staff is friendly and food is fine. Its very good value for what you get. There is good internet connection and have room service also. Ideal to go on a business trip and you need to do some work. Isnt luxurious but its comfortable for a quick business trip. They have hot water and tv inside the rooms too. Some rooms actually also have a good view.

Peru's very own equivalent of Faulty Towers without the humour. Quite an oppressive colour scheme, small rooms,  not the cleanest of rooms and charge for everything including water at 3.5 soles which equates to about 75 pence or one Dollar. The hotel itself is not inexpensive and no good if stairs cause a problem. The rooms are excessively hot and their is no air con or heating control. Bathroom was dirty. Was informed that it was 5 minutes walk from the plaza, then a twelve minute drive but in reality it's nowhere near the Plaza and there appears to be very little around the hotel. Originally I had it as one star but the breakfast of avocado and cheese was very pleasant and the gatdens acriss from the hotel picturesque, for what it is worth this hotel is not one I'd recommend.

Exelente hotel. Alejado de la bulla de la ciudad. Perfecto para descansar, zona externa bastante segura, uno puede dejar su vehículo sin problema. Precio habitación simple S/.150.00 más que justo para un viajero que solo busca descansar.

Muy buen hotel. Las habitaciones son alfombradas y eso ayuda mucho con el frío. Con mi empresa realizamos un evento en su salon y todo salio de maravilla.

Un hotel agradable pero muy caro. Hay hoteles más cerca a la plaza que ofrecen lo mismo, e incluso algo más, y cuestan un 15% menos ya sea en temporada alta como en temporada baja.

La chambre est propre et spacieuse, mais peu équipée. Le personnel est efficace et aimable. Attention cependant à ne rien laisser trainer qui puisse finir à la poubelle : mes savons personnels ont été jetés alors qu'ils étaient dans la douche. Le petit déjeuner est décevant car peu nourrissant : deux petits pains (un jambon-fromage et l'autre à garnir de confiture ou de beurre), un jus et un café ou thé. Situé dans un quartier tranquille, face à un petit parc.
