Good location, but very poor experience overall.
The location is very good, with easy access to bus stations and close to the biggest shopping mall, Meridiano. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing.
We booked through the official website, but our rooms were cancelled just a few days before our flight to Tenerife. We spent half a day trying to call the reception, but our calls were rejected. We even received an email saying the booking was successfully cancelled and that a refund was not possible. We almost lost £1000 just like that.
The rooms were extremely cold. There was no heating available, even though it was mentioned in the booking. Because of this, I got sick and had to take medicine. We went to the reception to ask about the heating as it was mentioned in the website but they said they don’t have and the receptionist suggested she will have an extra blanket delivered to our room number but until the last day of our stay, nothing was provided.
The cleaning service was very poor. There was no toilet paper (we had to buy it ourselves), and after cleaning, the blankets and pillows looked dirty and neglected. The cups are also not cleaned and they just forgot to put sometimes towels sometimes garbage paper
The TV is very old and basically unusable.
The gym is constantly wet because it is located right next to the jacuzzi, making it unsafe and unpleasant to use. In the end, we had to pay for Vivagym in for the period subscription because the hotel gym and jacuzzi were not usable.
Overall, despite the good location, I would not recommend this hotel due to poor service, lack of communication, and unacceptable room conditions.
