The hotel is quaint and the room is very nice. Very clean. No fridge or microwave in room, but in reception. EXCELLENT location. Staff are nice. My only complaint is I accidentally booked twice. (5 night stay) both paid in full. They would not even allow a partial reservation cancellation. I understand the day of arrival, and even the day after that. However they are booked solid and there is no reason they could not release me from the last 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun). But they would not. So I have 2 rooms/room keys. Other than that, I would recommend.

Hotel Simon is a distinguished and eloquent residence with a genuine 18th century feel and ambiance. Our room was basic, but had every thing the sightseeing visitor would ask for. The is no bar, but the area is full of them. That said, we enjoyed our own quiet drinks in the reception area. I guess the rule applies, respect the venue and they'll facilitate your needs. Credit must be given to Melanie, who offers us a tour of the hotels historic features, mural tiles and paintings. It's nice to see staff take such pride in where they work, always a good sign of a good establishment. The room was spotless and beds very comfortable. I was surprised how quiet the rooms were considering we were in the tourist area of Seville. The break was continental, but all fresh produce and a wide range of choice. Would highly recommend.

The hotel had a fantastic location. It has a certain old world charm, but the amenities could surely be improved upon. For instance, if they provide proper glasses in the rooms instead of small plastic ones? The people at the reception could be a little more helpful. We had been to Cordoba and Granada before this and the staff had been very attentive and helpful. We had to ask for a city map for sightseeing.

Perfect location right at the heart of Seville, helpful staff, and great, well maintained rooms for the price. I would love to stay again! The hotel has a character of a well preserved past. The breakfast was good, could have more hot options, though.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, it’s easily one of the best we’ve stayed in! The reception is beautiful, the staff is welcoming and friendly, and everything is spotless. Plus, the location is super central, making it perfect for exploring the city. That said, there were a couple of downsides. On our first night, at around 2AM, there was a loud noise and laughter coming from the reception, which woke us up. Also, the internet in our top-floor room was practically nonexistent. It worked a little in the bathroom, but nowhere else in the room, so we had to rely on our mobile data. Despite these minor issues, we still had a great experience and would recommend this hotel and will be back for sure cause it is also value for money.

This place made me feel like I was in the past, something I really liked. The room for one person is small but cozy and the bathroom is clean with hot water. I called days before to make sure if they would have someone waiting for my arrival at night and they very kindly answered yes, and they did. Very friendly staff. The location is great.

As a solo traveller this hotel offered a single room which was great value for money. The hotel had a lovely boutique feel and had a lot of character. The location was fantastic. Just up the street from the cathedral, 3 tapas restaurants within 20 metres. The dining room was spacious and breakfast was served between 7.30 and 11am. Very civilised! The staff were also very friendly.

Our second time here. Location cannot be any better just 2 min walk to Cathedral. Staff is always very welcoming. Decor is so nice and it’s so admirable that hotel keeps leaving original features. Thank you again for a best stay

Yelp
Hotel Simon was a great hotel and good value for the money. It's got a shabbiness to it that is both dated and full of character - and we loved it. Our room was large and clean, and outfitted with antique furniture. It was simple - no TV, one long shared pillow for the bed, and plain, light bedding. The shower had low water pressure, but the bathroom itself was beautiful, clean and large. The location couldn't have been better. Footsteps away from the Cathedral and Alcazar. The staff was helpful and nice when we needed them. All in all, a great experience.
