"It’s hard not to be in awe of Hotel Sin Nombre’s courtyard and central common area. Illuminated by its atrium ceiling, the sunken living room is framed by stone archways and linen curtains that provide texture and visual interest. Potted plants offer pops of green, and neutral hand-woven rugs from Teotitlán del Valle add to the warmth of the space. In the rooms, the neutral palette of the hotel’s common areas is contrasted with murals by Carlito Dalceggio and photos by “El Negro,” an Oaxacan photographer who showcases the Oaxacan coast’s Afro-Mexican culture. The hotel’s rooftop lap pool is a vibey place to get to know other travelers, and its bar, Cantinita, is a favorite of locals in Oaxaca."
