Hotel Sir & Lady Astor

4 night stay, visiting Koln, Bochum and Dusseldorf area and Christmas markets.||Easy navigation from airport via Dusseldorf Hbf. Greeted with a smile on arrival, 10mins early but got checked in no issues.|Asked when wanted breakfast next day, chose 8am.||Spacious room - Business Double - with a small Hall area, with wardrobe and bathroom. This meant sleeping area not immediately off the shared lobby.||Breakfast was plentiful, with a choice of egg dishes cooked to order. Chose omelette and fried eggs for his and her. Offered more coffee without asking.|Sunday breakfast was busy with a small wait in seated lobby area with coffee offered while table was being vacated/made ready.||Reception and Breakfast staff very receptive and efficient, had tickets to be printed for a local concert and printed no problems.||Rooms made up every 2 days, no issue for us.||Very quiet street, no noise issues. Could hear some movement from upstairs guests on occasion. ||Getting around by foot or public transport was easy with a choice of equi-distant stations - Hbf, Ost or Worringer.||Would stay again

The hotel is really close to Little Tokyo, only 7 mins walk and 9 mins walk to Düsseldorf Hbf. It's a little unique as they have 2 buildings which across each others: the reception (and maybe some rooms? Idk) and the hotel rooms where I stayed. The room was quite spacious, clean, but unfortunately they don't have AC so it's too warm to sleep. The bed size was okay, however I don't really like the pillow as it's too soft for me. Luckily we're placed on the Ground Floor as they don't have an elevator/lift so it might be too difficult to bring a luggage upstairs.

This hotel consists of two different buildings on opposite sides of the street. My room was in Lady Astor on the ground floor. It was mainly decorated in yellow and had a window looking into a garden. The room felt bright and fresh though it was a little dated. The room keys (actual keys) were somewhat hard to use. The bathroom is rather cramped and I actually had to turn sideways to get past the sink to the shower.| The location is out of the way in a less nice area of Düsseldorf but it is a walkable distance to both the city centre and the railway station.|Breakfast was passable but not great.|This is a relatively inexpensive hotel and is decent enough.

I have been staying in this gorgeous hotel multiple times every year since 2018, as I often travel to Düsseldorf for business. Friendly and professional staff, discreet and helpful! Very clean rooms, lobby and corridors (my criteria on cleaning are always extra strict everywhere I travel, yet they always meet and exceed my expectations), excellent breakfast, top quality rooms, tastefully decorated. The location is excellent, as it is close to the main train station, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. At the same time it is only about 10-15 minutes walking distance from the centre, and the neighbourhood is a very fun and interesting region to explore, which makes even this short walk absolutely worth it! They are always happy to assist me with any requests and I always feel welcomed and most of all, I always feel happy and safe, just like home! I have stayed in almost every room of the hotel throughout the years, and it is always a joy returning. When I am in Düsseldorf or in the around region for business, this is my absolute favourite choice. I have also visited the hotel with my family, they were also very pleased with everything. the room was really clean and the space was okay. unfortunately I didn’t get a good night sleep as the room was very warm and not air conditioned, despite my booking on booking.com listed the room as air conditioned

It is near train station, for me was good because needed to go to Coln, but far from downtown. Rooms are good and breakfast fantastic!!

Great hotel in a good location. Parking, excellent breakfast and very friendly reception.

Good location near the centre of Dusseldorf and near the main rail station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very small for 2 and the range of Channels on the TV was very limited. Breakfast had a great selection of food but the coffee was a little disappointing.
