Hotel Sixtytwo was so lovely to my husband and I on our honeymoon. The staff made us feel very welcomed - Paula made sure we were received warmly and gave us plenty of places to check out, Albert helped us navigate the city and made sure we had everything we needed, and Andrea helped us book a table at a busy restaurant. The hotel is in a great neighborhood. It's very central to a ton of popular sights, but while busy, it doesn't feel overwhelming. It reminded us a bit of SOHO in NYC. Lastly, our room was amazing. It was clean, the shower was strong, and the bed was comfy. The terrace was absolutely amazing, we spent so much time outside. Thank you again to all the staff that made our stay so comfortable!

Lovely hotel and staff. Wonderful location. We stayed there for three nights prior to getting on a cruise and had two rooms due to the size of our party. The front desk staff made dinner reservations for us and they even provided a portable WiFi to use as you walked around the city during your stay

This is by far one of the best hotels in Barcelona. A boutique gem in a an excellent upscale location. You will be close to everything but away from the crowd. The room is equipped with everything u need, a mini bar, tea/ coffee machine. We have received an upgrade to a suite which was sweet as it gives us a nice terrace to sunbath if needed. The shower is modern / new. The small lounge on the first floor offers complimentary tea and coffee during the day. The croissant served at breakfast is so crispy and fresh. Every single member of the staff is professional, friendly and they go out of their way to help and made us feel welcomed and at home. I will definitely be back and this will be my choice in Barcelona.

The hotel staff were very helpful and rooms were great. We had complimentary water, candy, and soda in our refrigerator in the room. We had a family room with a king bed and a twin bed for our daughter. The hotel is convenient to shopping and restaurants. I also included breakfast in the reservation which was made to order. We were there for a couple of days, and would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Perfect 2-night stay to start our vacation. Staff was extremely, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We upgraded to a deluxe room which was spacious, clean, and had all necessary amenities. Location was central to restaurants and the metro stop. Highly recommended!

We would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat!! |You can get cheaper accommodation but this hotel is well worth the extra cash!!||We used the local airport bus to travel into Barcelona from the airport. |So easy to pick up right outside the terminal and only 7:45 euro each.|The terminus was Playa de Catalunya, the main square in Barcelona. |The hotel is a relatively short walk (10 minutes at most) down Passeig de Garcia, which is directly on your left as you dismount from the bus.|The hotel is on the right hand side of Passeig de Gracia, only a little further on from Casa Batlló (which is on the left hand side - see photos).||We stayed in a Junior Suite with Terrace for 3 nights.|The terrace was huge!! It had table and chairs with an umbrella, and two sun-loungers on a raised platform. The view wasn’t great but to have a terrace in the city centre was a big plus after a long day sight seeing.|The decor of the room was contemporary, the bed was so comfortable, everything was spotless.|There was a fridge in the room that contained two cans of beer, two cans of Coca Cola, a glass bottle of water and two chocolate bars 👍|We had bathrobes and good quality slippers.|There is a kettle, coffee maker, glass mugs and espresso cups. The good quality tea bags, coffee pods and biscuits were replenished daily.|We were also left a gift of a bottle of white wine and some shortbread type biscuits.|The toiletries are all Penhaligan - quality!!||All of the staff we encountered at reception and in the breakfast room were lovely - really friendly and helpful 🥰 ||The breakfast room also acts as a ‘free’ lounge for the rest of the day!! |It is contemporary in design and beautifully laid out. |The breakfast offerings were fantastic!! |Hot and cold drinks, freshly squeezed orange juice presented in small individual carafes, an assortment of delicious bread and pastries, cold meats and cheeses, a brilliant variety of small sandwiches, fresh fruits and yogurts, breakfast style sponge cake, waffles and pancakes. |You could also request items from a hot dish menu: eggs of every variety, omelettes, eggs with sausage and bacon etc |All prepared on request, beautifully presented and hot!! |We also saw quite a few people asking for take away boxes which they were given without a fuss.||We went into the lounge after a day of sight seeing, there was coffee, tea, wine, cava, cold drinks, pastries and snacks available free of charge. We spoke to two American ladies that advised us they had been given a bottle of cava and some popcorn free of charge, we were also offered a bottle of cava and advised we could take it in the lounge or they would deliver it to our room if required!! 🍾🥂😍||In the small reception area there is a fridge full of ice lollies and ice cream lollies that are also free of charge!! And not forgetting the small tray of Chupa Chupa lollipops 🍭 also available for free!! (So many free things - it is unbelievable!!)||As you can tell we absolutely loved this hotel and all it had to offer!! We can’t recommend it enough and will definitely return for a hopefully longer stay on our next visit to Barcelona!!||Very well done to all the Management and your excellent Staff that make this such an exceptional hotel!! 🥰

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Sixty Two. The rooms were very large and spacious and most importantly quiet. Beds were very comfortable. They also offered complimentary water, coke, and chocolates. The location is great, within walking distance to many great restaurants and easy access to cabs. The hotel also offered complimentary day passes to a nearby gym/pool. The only thing I wished the hotel offered were face towels but this is very minor.

Sixtytwo is a small boutique hotel that does everything well. ||Their front desk staff are friendly, knowledgeable and keep open communication with you through WhatsApp.||We had two rooms, a junior suite and 3 person room. Both rooms were excellent, clean and well maintained. The welcome wine and stocked bar fridge was a pleasant welcome surprise.||Breakfast was very good. Lots of options from buffet style platters to ordered entrees.||Outside of breakfast the dinning room is available for coffee, wine, champagne and treats for most hours. A great place to refresh after a long day of sightseeing or shopping.||The location of the hotel is amazing. In between Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. It is in the heart of the shopping district with most of the luxury brands there so dangerous for your wallet!||I still have commend the staff at the hotel especially the front desk who helped us quite a bit with airport transfers, etc. The stay was a highlight of our European trip.

Yelp
I stayed here this Christmas and I was very impressed. The location is the best. Close enough to old town and (walking distance) fairly quite during the night. Service was great. Breakfast was amazing, great local options. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy. I totally recommend staying here, especially if you are a tourist visiting the city.

Yelp
I enjoyed every second of my vacation here! From its great location in Paseo de Gracia, one of the most exclusive areas of Barcelona, to the beautiful and immaculate detail of the rooms, I was absolutely blown away. We stayed in a family suite, consisting of two separate rooms. The main room had a nice view and the hotel provided complimentary snacks, soda and bottle of wine to welcome us! The only complaint we had was the bathrooms did not have small washcloths (towels) available and when we requested them we were provided bath mat towels and was told by housekeeping that was what was available. However, all in all my family enjoyed the close proximity to the many restaurants, shops and great sites to visit. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Overall great experience. Friendly check-in, free upgrade with Expedia gold status, free bottle of wine in the room, free Cava in the lounge, and free apples near the front door. The location couldn't be better, it's walkable to many tourist spots (two Gaudi buildings, the Rambla, and more). Only downsides were: homeless sleeping near the entrance to the hotel, and it was a bit noisy (could hear neighbor's doors loudly shutting, noise from the street below).

Yelp
We had a reservation at another boutique hotel that had an electrical issue, so they moved us here, and were so glad they did! We absolutely loved this place and only wish we stayed longer. We had one of the rare units with a back patio, where we enjoyed champagne and tapas from a wonderful restaurant two doors down. The room is well appointed with plush robes, towels, toiletries, etc. The location is on a Main Street where you have easy access to everything, restaurants, shops, taxi, etc. The bed was also extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
This hotel deserves more than 5 stars! Shoot, if I could them 100 stars I would! This was the BEST hotel in Passeig de Garcia area, like seriously! From the time I walked in through the big wooden door and entered the sexy red, elegant lobby to the time I checked out, I couldn't be any happier! Sixty-two is located in the heart of downtown Barcelona near many well-known shops and delicious restaurants. It's also easily walkable to Las Ramblas, Born District, and other popular areas. Now, let's move on to the five reasons why this hotel deserves ALL 5 STARS: * They give a walking tour (in English and Spanish language) around the downtown Passeig De Garcia in the mornings- Thursday mornings and Saturday evenings! It's an hour tour of all the man highlights. * There hotel rooms offer a wonderful view of the busy street (Passeig de Garcia) if you book the Terrace rooms that come with a lovely balcony. *Cava night every evening from 6PM-6: 30 PM. The Cava was delicious! They also offer a small bowl of chips to go along with it. Trust me- don't miss out on this! * The breakfast buffet is spectacular! They offer a range of good food and if you don't pay for it during your booking then you can book when you check in. They had a breakfast special for 10€. *Lastly, the rooms here just scream SEXYYYY!! The beds were so damn comfortable! It was so hard getting up in the morning. I was in room 602 the top floor and I swear I thought I was in a suite. The room was HUGE. I LOVE that they have a bathtub and a shower in the room (You know which one I chose, right:-) ). My room location wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the amazing staff, Husni, who gave me an upgrade upon my request! Thank you, Husni!!! The staff at Sixty-Two go over and beyond for their customers! -Husni - is a CUTIE! But beyond that, I required a view of the main street and he told me he would try. He did more than try, he hooked it up for me and gave me a huge room on the 6th floor all to myself!! Muy Bueno y mucho gracias, Husni!! BESOS!! -Laura- checked me in my room and also had my bags in my room by the time I arrived! Gracias, Laura! -Natalie-this lovely lazy went out of her way to help me after my room-key didn't work. She went up and done the lobby several times until we FINALLY got a key to work. Mucho gracias, Natalie!! -lastly, sweet Adam! He came to rescue after I complained about my room being a sauna. It's on the highest floor; I totally understand. But Adam came and brought me one fan. After I realized that one fan wasn't going to do the job, he came back with another fan! Such a wondered, sweet hit! Mucho gracias, Adam!! Overall, do not second guess booking a room here! You truly won't regret it! It's much better than staying at Hotel Royal, or any other hotels nearby. My only regret? Was not staying longer in my beautiful room! Enjoy your stay (you'll thank me later).

Yelp
Sixty Two is a cute boutique hotel located on Passeig de Gracia which is the major shopping street in Barcelona. Pros: - Convenient location - Extremely friendly service - Decent-sized rooms with nice, modern decor - USB converter plugs to borrow if needed - Free wi-fi Cons: - Rooms are a little dark - Beds a bit too soft for my taste (I prefer a firmer bed) Our stay was pleasant and prices were reasonable. I'd recommend it!

Yelp
Hotel was lovely and in a perfect location! Right off the Metro line. The room was extremely clean and well situated. Room came with a mini bar - although be careful... very pricey. Room also came with a coffee maker, again, remember the coffee pods are part of the mini bar - ouch! But not to worry, go to Cafe Francisco three doors down towards your right when leaving the hotel front door. The bar was nice, again PRICEY - two martini's with Gin Mare (best gin I've ever had) was 37 Euro - WHAT! Back to the room and hotel. Everyone was very helpful. If you aren't not fluent in Spanish - they speak english (not 100%, but at about 94%). I didn't have the breakfast/bruch, way too expensive, especially when you have so many options at your door step. I completely recommend this... Oh and you're only about 3-4 blocks from Citibank.. open a liquid account or something to save on fee's... Citibank is international... hint

Yelp
This hotel is a gem. Perfectly located, comfortable, chic. Feels like home. Jaume, Arnau, Victor, Laura and Marta were all so accommodating, kind and professional. The best staff to make your stay the best possible. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We would give 6 stars for the hotel sixty two. It made our stay in Barcelona really pleasant. The location is good, close to everything. The room was tidy and the staff were really amazing. Thank you Hotel62, we will definitely come back to stay here again when we visit Barcelona next time!

Yelp
I was very impressed with this hotel. They provide you with a comb, tooth brush, toothpaste, hair dryer, flattening iron, and other suppplies. Rooms are spacious enough and reasonably priced. The location is good. Walls are a bit thin is my only criticism.

Yelp
We made the mistake of paying for the nicest suite in the hotel. Despite it being winter during our stay, it was scalding hot in the room when we checked in and we were told that during winter there is only heat and no air conditioning in the units. Furthermore next to the grand suite there was a family staying in the next room and their children were jumping on the beds and screaming at the top of their lungs on a daily basis and it was as loud as if they were in our room. Furthermore, there is no turndown service and the service here is crap. Do not be fooled by the 4 star rating, this feels is a hostel with minor extra details. We would have been much better off in a regular room at a nicer hotel than the nicest room at this hotel. For sure.

Yelp
Great hotel. Great price. Great location. This hotel is very modern and has nice and intuitively designed rooms. Our room had a balcony facing the Street, which was a plus - though occasionally we'd hear drunk people yelling in the streets in the middle of the night. Free wifi with a login and password - much of the rest of Europe doesn't seem to appreciate the concept of network security and management. The hotel is central to multiple tourist attractions and is located on a street that serves as a shopping destination for luxury goods - think 5th Avenue in New York.

Yelp
Location was ideal here with a metro and shops/eateries right outside your door. Modern designed boutique hotel. We had a room with a garden patio which was quite nice and the room was spacious. Clean hotel and we had a wonderful stay. The concierge staff was super friendly and helpful. I just wished they didn't push two full sized beds to make a king. Just a personal pet peeve. Otherwise, 2 thumbs up!

Yelp
The hotel is "cute", and very quaint. The staff members are extremely pleasant. It is centrally located to all local shops and mass transit routes. The room was extremely quiet. My only issue is that, the beds are too low the floor and the mattress was a bit worn out. It's a good place to stay for an overnight.

Yelp
Just spent 3 months there and I will recommend it to anybody who want to enjoy Barcelona in a classy cosy way

Qype User (anaown…)

Yelp
I love him, really love my man here who have spent 14 days in this beautiful hotel in Barcelona Sixtytwo. The hotel is beautiful, with modern equipment and perhaps the biggest plus is that it has a really great staff. When I came in here just wauu said. Hotel room was huge with a nice big bed. The bathroom was equipped with super bath, shower and large mirror. Much we have enjoyed, and if we go to Barcelona next year we definitely have chosen Barcelona Hotel.
