Hotel Slamič Ljubljana

We had a great stay at Hotel Slamič. The location is perfect – just a short walk into the city, and right across the street there’s a cool outdoor bar at the nearby hostel. Our room was clean, modern, and located in the quiet courtyard, which made for very peaceful nights. The view was just of the inner courtyard parking area, but that probably helped keep things calm and quiet. A small water kettle in the room would have been nice, though. Breakfast was decent, and it’s a real plus that you can sit out on the large terrace when the weather is good. After four nights, we did miss a bit of variety in the selection, but overall it was fine. Service was friendly and helpful throughout. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. All in all, a solid choice for exploring Ljubljana

We stayed there on May, 2025. The place is cozy and in a great location, near everything . The room was very comfortable and sparkling clean, spacious and silent.The premises are beautifully decorated; the breakfast is complete and delicious, everything fresh and very well-done. The place is family-run and everyone is more than friendly, willing to help us in anything we need. To sum up, a great experience. I really recommend.

Family owned since 1932, reclaimed after Slovenia independence, the owner told me with beaming pride! Breakfast is served in an atmospheric “Speakeasy” which also has jazz concerts every Thursday! The location is perfect! On a quiet street 5 minutes from the old town action. We loved this place!!

I stayed here for three nights and the experience was beyond expectations. The room was spacious and clean, there was ample overhead lighting, and there was a refrigerator in the room which is a rare find in Europe. You have to check off what you want for breakfast and place it in a bin the night before which I at first thought was strange but it worked fairly well. The portions were bigger than what I was expecting, and the food was fresh. By far the BEST scrambled eggs in Europe. All of the members of the staff were friendly and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the city and less than ten minutes to the main bus station; there is a train station nearby as well. They will also book an airport transfer for you. The only thing missing from this hotel is an elevator; there are stairs leading up to the front door (no ramp option) and then another flight of steps to get to reception. As a light traveler, this worked for me but for anyone traveling with a lot of luggage this may be a setback.

My mother and I went for a little city trip and stayed at this hotel. We were so happy with our choice. The staff is super friendly, fantastic location, the rooms very clean and the breakfast is absolutely delicious! If you think about staying here, don’t think twice, because everything was just great!

We walked into this restaurant on our first night in Ljubljana based on the online reviews. It certainly lives up to its reputation. The food recommended by hotel stuff was excellent and the service was warm and respectful. We had a wonderful experience.

Location!Location!Location! 5 minutes walk from old town. 3 minutes walk to Mercator and 24/7 food stalls. Clean and modern room with heater and AC. Sleek toilet with anti fog mirror. Friendly and helpful staffs throughout! Quiet area of the town. Our room is superb for our 5 days 4 nights trip. Worth staying!

Good beds, airco, quiet rooms, nice staff and a good enough breakfast (after I saw you can order fresh eggs on your table).
