Hotel Slovenska Plaža

We had a wonderful time with our family at the hotel. Our stay lasted a couple of days in August, and we were accommodated in the Vila Cempresa apartment. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the beaches and the swimming pools. The pools are filled with salt water, which was a great plus. The food was delicious, varied every day, and offered something for everyone’s taste. We would gladly come back next year.

Wifi, cleaning services and room are bad things in the hotel. Playground is a good thing, food is ok. Wifi in my room at Kamelija C is poor: closing door then can't see/connect wifi sometimes, unable to make video call... Maybe in other blocks can be better but many people complaint the same. Then you can't use your TV at all. Many lights/ lamps in the room don't work. No shower gel, no soup are fulfilled. The containers are just decorated. Lavabo aren't cleaned.

Hotel Slovenska Plaža is a solid choice for travellers who: • Want a good location in Budva near the beach and old town, • Are comfortable staying in a resort-style complex (rather than an upscale boutique hotel), • Are most interested in spend time at the beach / pool / exploring town rather than expecting ultra-luxury service. On the other hand, if you are looking for: • a top-tier 4/5 star hotel with pristine consistent service, ultra-modern rooms, very gourmet dining, and don’t want to deal with any service variability → then you may want to look at options with stronger reviews in those areas. Star-rating suggestion: Around 3.5 to 4 out of 5 – great location + resort concept, but with some trade-offs in service, clarity of room categories, and value.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was mostly disappointing: • Cleanliness: There was mold in the bathroom, the floor was dirty, the bed linen was not fresh, and the towels were often unclean. Despite asking at the reception three times, our room was never properly cleaned. • Food: For a hotel of this class, the quality and variety of the meals were disappointing – we definitely expected more. • Room: Everything worked technically, but the TV channels were poor and the Wi-Fi was very weak. • Reception location: The walk to the reception is very long, which is inconvenient, especially with luggage. For a price of €1,000 per person, the value for money is not justified. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, we were even driven to our room upon arrival, and the best part was definitely the beach – it’s truly stunning!

We stayed at Slovenska Plaza 4 and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We even paid extra for a renovated room, but the service and overall quality were terrible. Every night, loud music from the restaurant played until 3 a.m., making it impossible to sleep or rest. I tried calling reception and sending messages, but there was no response – the noise continued until the early morning hours. Housekeeping was extremely poor. During our 7-day stay, the trash was never taken out, the floors were not cleaned, and even though we left the light on to request cleaning, nothing was done. Towels were rarely changed, and the new ones we received were dirty. On top of that, the cleaning staff started shouting and talking loudly in the corridors from 8 a.m., right outside the doors, which made it impossible to rest in the mornings. Breakfast was also disappointing – always the same, very poor quality, with scrambled eggs full of eggshells. The only positive aspect is the location, which is convenient and close to everything. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel. The service, food, and noise levels were unacceptable, especially considering the price we paid.

The whole hotel complex is amazing. It’s big, has a lot of green parks, places for kids to play. Two amazing pools with salty water which is cristal clear. There are plenty animations for kids and adults. Food is amazing, the restaurant is near beach. I would recommend it for a family anytime.

I recently stayed at Hotel Slovenska Plaza and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but what truly made my stay special were the poolside animators. They created such a lively and positive atmosphere, making every day fun and engaging for guests of all ages.||I would especially like to mention Anđa, a young student and animator, who was absolutely amazing. She was kind, full of energy, and always made sure everyone felt included. Her enthusiasm and warm personality really stood out and made a big difference in my vacation experience.||I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budva, and I hope the management recognizes the incredible work of their animation team!

Great place, it's just like a small town haha. Greece vibe🔝💙The rooms were clean, towels were changed every day.🫶🏾 The only thing I didn't like was that the tablecloths in the restaurant were dirty😬, hygiene in general👎🏽... However, the checkers in the resto were very nice and polite😃🫶🏾
