Hótel Snaefellsnes

We stopped for a loo break and ended up having lunch, attracted as we were by the lovely reception area on the right, with comfortable sofas and books, and the spacious restaurant to the left. As Indians, we are always taken aback by the quality of restaurants and the food served in what are seemingly remote and sparsely populated locations. Vegamot Cafe of Hotel Snaefellsnes in Iceland, not surprisingly, had a very nice menu with a choice of Icelandic specialities, from which we selected the fish soup which was lovely. We were also impressed by how a staff of two servers took good care of a steady stream of diners. Loved it!

Super convenient location to set up for a full loop of the peninsula before or after your stay. Good breakfast, no hot foods though. Rooms were spacious and it was quiet. Good curtains to keep out the sun. The cafe is also a great spot for a snack and the restaurant was good too!

Excellent breakfast and warm services We had dinner at their cafe , delicious dishes and was the best value meal in our 10 days trip. Our room is located very close to the main road but still it was not noisy as traffic at night almost did not exist even at peak months. We had to open the window which is to the direction of the road for fresh air; we had good sleep still. Beds are comfy. ventilation of the bathroom can be better. Not sure if ours was broken down.

Super cute and awesome place smack in the middle of the Snaeflseness loop. We stopped for coffee on the way to Yitri Tunga and stopped again in the way back on the way to Reykjavik for more coffee, hot chocolate and small fries(the portion was HUGE).great service ,excellent food and coffee and neat hotel. Helps that it has restroom facilities as well.highly recommend stopping here !

Visited the cafe., Veramot Coffee. Very cool place. Great coffee and cakes/biscuits. Staff very cool. Worth the trip from any where in the world for the vibe, and of course the coffee.

The food here was delicious! Definitely recommend having dinner at Vegamot. The room was also lovely, very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was a great find; clean and well-kept rooms with Smart TVs and an excellent breakfast. Their on-site café stays open until 9:30 PM, which was very convenient. We had a fantastic stay here, and the location is ideal for exploring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula without needing to drive all the way from Reykjavík.

Phenomenal services are so many vegan options, so kind and helpful here. I heard great things about the lunch here we just grab some snacks and left would definitely buy the deserts we got again.
