Hotel Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich

Booked a junior king suite through booking.com… the price was around half of what was shown on ALL app. I called the hotel to ask if they could match but they refused. Which is fine since I got the room anyway. ||Check in person didn’t look too happy. Maybe just a bad day. Suite was big. The bedroom itself felt cramped on one side. The bathroom had separate tub and shower. It feels like they had forgotten about shower and toilet and had to squeeze them in last minute. I personally hated the room layout. ||Breakfast spread was huge with many vegetarian options available but felt unwelcome. Dishes from table are almost never cleared. You’re not offered tea or coffee, you’ve got to find the station to get that. ||The people at the concierge are super friendly. Room service staff are also very friendly.

Very relaxed, luxury and comfortable hotel. We arrived very early due to our busy schedule. Nancy zhu at the executive did her best to arrange a room for us prior the standard check in time which was a big help as we were extremely tired and needed a quick rest for the day ahead. She not only help with room but also tried her very best to help fix the internet connection and went beyond and above to get the IT team to come up looking at our issue while having to deal with other guests. I really did enjoy our stay and definitely will be back. Thank you

The Sofitel hotel is an excellent hotel that I enjoyed staying at. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff always made sure to clean my room everyday even if I leave the hotel at different times. I appreciate it. The breakfast and lunch buffet was very good with varied selections of foods available. Location is a bit isolated without much around but you can take a Didi and travel to the nearby malls.

The stay was comfortable and hotel is clean. The hotel seemed a little dated and might need new furniture. Also, for the trash bins in the room, it might be more hygienic if trash bags were provided. For the amenities, perhaps include hair net for the ladies

Overall quite good. Niki in the lounge gave wonderful help in all my questions regarding restaurant booking and restaurant recommendations. But could be better. Somehow the pillows and bed wasn't up to standard, slept in better quality bed and pillows in other same price Accor hotels. Secondly, considering it's my birthday, I would expect some small cake or some chocs over the fruits that was given. If it's an ibis chain, fruits is fine, but considering this is sofitel, I would expect better.

It was really a nice stay, with a nice view from our room, the room was clean and big, with all of the equipment still working such as hair dryer, iron steam clothes. And all of the staff was really helpfull and friendly. For the location it was in the center of the city, so you can go anywhere you like and easy to access. It was really an enjoyable stay for us in here.

It was our first time in Guangzhou for a business trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She even offered to use her own number so we could place our orders – such kindness and dedication!||And to Bibber, who left us truly touched – we casually asked him which lemon tea he would recommend, and on our last day, he surprised us with the one he mentioned. That thoughtful gesture made us feel like we were among family.||Because of Tina, Bibber, and the entire team, our stay was not just comfortable but heartwarming. We will definitely be back in Guangzhou, and Sofitel Sunrich will always be our first choice.
