On the top floor of a classic Nice period house, entrance between two restaurants on one of the best streets in town for food and drink. The people who work here are amazingly lovely and helpful. You don't always get such a warm welcome from large chain hotels. All rooms have a balcony but, despite its location, it's really quiet at night. You can order a continental breakfast in your room or pop out to any of the very many cafes within walking distance. There's a mini fridge in the bedroom and you can borrow a bottle opener and glasses if you fancy an evening on the balcony. Would happily stay there again.

Excellent location right in the centre and moments from the beach but still quiet. Rooms are a bit basic but clean and our double room had a great little balcony. People on reception are really friendly and helpful and will store your bags. The lift is tiny as other people have said. We preferred to walk the five flights of stairs! Would definitely stay here again if back in Nice as it's great value for money for where it is located.

A friend made a booked on June 7, at 6:43 pm, for June 8, 9 and 10. Shortly after, he was informed of a medical family situation and had to request cancellation. Furthermore, Booking.com submitted a cancellation fee waiver. Long story short, he canceled his booking by mistake, because he's new to Booking.com process, and the hotel manager/owner refused to reinstatement his booking or give him any refund. FYI, the room was booked for all three nights and there was no vacancy available. When Booking.com and he learned that and faced the hotel management, they offered a partial refund. What does that say about this hotel? I'll leave that to you. But remember, unforeseen circumstances are very common and in happens to everyone. Hence, do you want to book in a hotel where the management is not willing to show any understanding?

I had a wonderful stay in this lovely place. Everything was perfect, the room, location, service. Thanks to Galina and Jean-Louis the hotel has its special and warm atmosphere making you feel like home. I will definitely return there next time, hopefully soon. Thank you.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Jean's warm welcome made my first visit memorable; he even provided a map highlighting all the must-see spots. The hotel's prime location in the city centre not far from Nice Ville station allowed me to explore effortlessly. Plus, it’s close to top-notch eateries. I ate at Le Grand Cafe for breakfast and Rina for dinner. Both were great and added an extra layer of convenience and delight to my trip. The room itself was great - I booked the double with balcony. Quite a large balcony, decent bathroom and room size. Highly recommended * The reception is open until noon in the morning. If you arrive by 12 o'clock they should be able to look after your luggage if you message and ask.* *Once at the airport there is Tram Line 2 to get to the city center. I got a return ticket for £10 which got me there and back for my flights. The nearest stop to the hotel is "Jean Médecin". Then it is a 6-minute walk.*

The hotel’s location on Nice’s main street was really convenient. Just a heads-up, though: it can get quite noisy late at night if you’re sensitive to that. It’s also a safe area with plenty of people around, which made me feel secure walking back late at night. Plus, it’s just a short stroll to the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is very good for the price, don't expect anything fancy, but you'll be right in the center of Nice, minutes form the beach, 10 minutes from the tram stop, and close to many restaurants and shops. The hotel is a part of an apartment complex, you have to get to the 4th floor to actually access the hotel and the reception desk. The lift is very small and makes funny noises, so if you have more luggage, you might need to take the stairs instead. The staff is very helpful, the hotel is not open 24/7 though. You'll get codes so you can open both doors after 8 pm, and you can call this phone number to reach the reception anytime. ||The hotel offers in-room breakfast which is nice. ||I had a single room which was surprisingly spacious for a single room, very clean with a large terrace with an amazing view. The shower was pretty small and there was space to put your toiletries, the shower was very modern though.||Two things I didn't like about this hotel - the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from your neighbors. Because the hotel is located on a busy street, it gets very loud at night too. Secondly, the bed was very uncomfortable, very hard, I hardly got some sleep. ||If they change the beds and pillow, I'll be happy to come back! I recommend this hotel to those who like staying in the center and are not too demanding.
