Hotel Solaris

A simple but well run and very comfortable hotel more or less in the city centre. Spotlessly clean ; easy and free parking right in front of the hotel ; lovely and helpful staff ; excellent breakfast choice and quality ; and ( literally ! ) five minutes walk from a bunch of reasonably good but inexpensive restaurants. A problem with the lock on our bedroom door was solved within a few minutes even though it was Sunday afternoon. Terrific value for money and we wouldn't hesitate, not for a second, to go back there next time we're in Setubal.

This is the best place to stay has ever thing you need and if you want to know about something just ask the front desk they can help you with it and got good food as well

My wife and I arrived tired and a little stressed in Setubal and in much need of some relaxation. From the 1st moment we walked through the door with our daughter we were looked after by Osvaldo, Rute and the team like family. Honestly the staff are super and a credit to the hotel and their city! So kind and helpful and always available to warm our daughters milk, they also kindly arranged her birthday cake. The hotel is on a beautiful square and with hanging baskets outside each window, only a short walk from some excellent places to eat, the harbour and the town beach and a 10 minute walk from the ferry quay where you can reach Troia. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was nice enough too, overall a wonderful stay, we look forward to returning in the future. Thanks to all the team at Solaris for making our 8 night stay so very nice.

Lovely hotel that our cycling company (Cycling Rentals) have a connection with. Started our cycle from Setubal to the algarve from here. Hotel staff were so helpful and friendly, room was clean and spacious. Good breakfast! Good location for lots of restaurants.

Great little hotel in the old town. Great staff, good breakfast, very clean rooms. Forget about luxury, this is all about atmosphere and its fantastic. Walking distance to everything incl your favorite restaurants, beach, shopping

I was there for two nights on a business trip. The hotel is nice at first sight, the staff is very polite. Breakfast is OK, the preparation could be in bigger portions, but fine. There is only instant coffee. But there are a few disadvantages. First of all, there is very limited parking place and the surrounding streets are very narrow, makes maneuvering very difficult. Additionally the walls and ceilings are very thin, you can hear everything (I mean really everything) next and above you. That caused for me two nights with limited rest and awake sleep.

The breakfast is really not a too good experience, the cutlery is so small and the space is a bit narrow. And a TV playing music videos at breakfast is so strange. Location is perfect. And it is tricky to park there.

The staff was very friendly and professional. Very clean room. The hotel had its own parkingplaces in the front of it. Good breakfast. The location is great, walking distance to a lot of places to eat. Good value for the money.
