Hotel Solneve

A historic hotel located right in the historic city center. The furniture, layout, and overall atmosphere truly feel like stepping into the 1970s. The staff are polite and professional, doing their jobs with care. The location is very convenient, and the rooms are impressively spacious — even the bathroom is as big as a room. Breakfast was included, with a buffet option for around 5 euros, which is very reasonable compared to outside places in this tourist area. If we pass through again, this is a hotel we would stay at once more.

The best hotel of Covilhã 🇵🇹 we always go there when we visit family in Covilhã and the service is always PERFECT. We love this hotel. The breakfast is good. The bedrooms are really big and amazing. I recommend this hotel. It's near everything: shopping places, pharmacy, coffee places and more.

Beautiful hotel and great service. Loved the breakfast. Parking is across from the hotel, we went to the hotel first and they put in the licence number of the car, so everything went automatically without taking a card. The back lift goes to all floors including the breakfast floor, but it is not quite obviously, we asked for assistance from reception the first day. There are 2 steps to get to the lifts, and for the restaurant / breakfast room there are small stairs, about 10 steps from the lift. There is also an outside access, but I have not tried that. So not really recommended for wheelchair users, but otherwise a great choice.

This is an older hotel. But that's okay. It has lots of charm. We got an extra big bed and a very large room. The bed was comfortable, the linens were comfortable, the bathroom linens were good. The windows and the drapes kept the sound of the streets out. Like everyone else has said there was free parking across the street.

Its a nice hotel. Nothing fancy, does the job. As an indoor heated pool which is great. Our room had a strong tobacco smell but they gave us another one right away. Rooms are OK, bathroom included with a good shower. Hotel is central I mean, more central than this is impossible and they also help with the parking bill across the street. Breakfast was pretty good, eggs, yogurts, croissants, bread, milk, etc etc although the coffee was horrible. Go early or you will get a big mess in the room, it will be crowded. We had a nice stay and the price was cheap too.

I visited Covilhã with my family a few weeks ago. My sister will be studying at the university there next year, so we wanted to check the city out before. |The hotel is located in the old side of town, which is really beautiful. We enjoyed the fact that we could walk everywhere around the are (if you don’t mind walking a bit) and it was in a very convenient location. It’s important to know that they do offer parking. |The rooms are a bit old, and the breakfast wasn’t that great, but if you are just spending a couple nights there and you only want the hotel to rest, it is really affordable.

The hotel is clean and has been refurbished relatively recently. We had no problem with outside noise as the windows were really thick. The pool is a nice feature but we all thought the water left a oily film on the skin.||||Breakfast was good, lots if variety to choose from.||||Very well located right in the center of town, although there isnt much to see in the center of town.||||Parking was free the hotel gave us a card that allowed us to have the parking for free.||||The Spa was closed so didn't get to experience it.
