Hotel Solun

We booked this hotel for 4 nights. It was a good experience, staff was friendly and accommodating our needs. Very good location, breakfast was included and even if there were not crazy many options there was something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the honey comb. It was getting quite warm at night in the room and we did not manage to turn the heating down but just opening the window fixed the problem. We also received complimentary drinks from the bar which was a nice touch.

Perfect location, close to everything, taxi stand right in front of the hotel. Very friendly staff. Spacious, quiet rooms. The breakfast is average - high variety but quality of individual items is not great. The spa is not worth the money in my opinion - very basic and pricey. Overall I was happay and would come back.

Great position for visiting on foot all the local attractions. Good sized room, clean with everything we needed. Very tasty evening buffet meal and breakfast, although dining room a bit small. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. I always send a postcard from the countries I visit, but the post office was closed when I went. I was leaving the country that morning. I gave my postcard with stamp money (hopefully enough!) to the lovely reception staff and they, when they were able, went to the post office, bought a stamp and posted the card. I received it within days, thank you very much!

Don't stay if you have a car. There is nowhere to park during check in and my car was towed within minutes of arriving. The staff needs to be prepared to open the gate when guests arrive. The night manager didn't handle the situation properly and acted as if it was our fault that the valet folks weren't notified of our arrival. Also, be prepared to have your Visa card rejected which I've never had happen... it happened to other guests as well. Otherwise the rooms were fairly nice, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was included and very good.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel failed to provide a room with proper beds for children, despite this being clearly requested in advance. Even worse, I was promised a refund by email. After following up, I was told it had been sent to the bank — and then communication completely stopped. Over 40 days later, no refund and no response. This shows a serious lack of professionalism and trustworthiness.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Hotel has 2 buildings we stayed at riverside. Actually when I see the location first, I was not sure but I saw the room and it was really good. Room was clean, big and had a good river view. Reception staff was very nice and friendly. We will recommend hotel to our friends.

A very nice hotel nestled in the centre of the town .Good breakfast and friendly staff at the reception.

A very nice surprise! The lobby is nice decorated. The rooms are beautiful, the breackfast was gorgeous and the service verry good.
