Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa offers a comfortable and pleasant stay with several strong highlights. The rooms are spacious, the services are great, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I also had a massage at the spa, which was excellent and very relaxing. The hotel’s proximity to the city center is another big advantage, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions and restaurants. One area that could be improved is breakfast. While there was one Indian dish available each day, it wasn’t very authentic, and adding more Indian options with better authenticity would greatly enhance the experience for Indian travelers. Overall, it’s a good hotel with comfortable rooms, great service, and a prime location. With a bit more variety and authenticity in breakfast offerings, it could be even better.

We had a great time! Pool was amazing we booked a deluxe room and was upgraded to a pool room! Aircon was brilliant - house keeping very good with extras. We were greeted very professional. |The only thing I would say is breakfast was not the best had a selection but could be improved on. |Location perfect 5 mins to pub street. Had money exchange laundry 1 min away and the newest supermarket with everything you could possibly want. |I would highly recommend this hotel we are an Irish and Australian couple 😃

Dear Travellers and travel agenties, ||If you are looking for a authentic early 2000 hotel decor this might be what you are looking for. |We stayed here the last 2 nights of our trip. It nearly ruined our otherwise fantastic holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia.|Nearly everything at this hotel is dated. And not in a good way. Dated can be charming. But here it means run....|The pool looks nice but is very deceiving because the pH levels are so off that when you open your eyes they hurt. That is not a good. |It means they don't care about the water quality as long als it looks good.|The restaurant is as charming as a bouquet of flowers after 4 weeks. Without any water.|Tube lighting kills any romantic moment but they have implemented it in your bedroom. |And after the total mismatch of tiles in the bathroom, that were out of fashion the monument they were installed in the early 2000's, the wet floor after a shower will make you unhappy anyway. |The carpets in the hallways are full of stains and are lit in an even less charming way, your bedroom is. ||They have "upgraded" rooms in a building across the pool. The are called premium and I kid you not, it is written on an arch that you have to go trough, to enter this world of fairytale. These rooms are better but in my opinion, they are the absolute minimum what one can ask for in a decent hotel. But if you call yourself a 5 star hotel, even with these rooms you would get internationall 3 *. Max!! And the new bathroom tiles... they are huge black and white from top to bottom. Including the floor. Perhaps it is all a matter of taste but it gives me a kind of odd 80's vibe. Duran Duran anyone??||And don't get me started on de souvenir shop in the lobby... ||They positives. The beds are a bit firm but very clean and we slept very well.||Touroperators that put their guests in this hotel should be send back on a hospitality course. FOR MONTHS!||You can truly ruin someone's wonderful memories of a otherwise fantastic holiday.

The place is spacious and well-decorated. Most of the items in the room are made of wood and the rooms are spacious. They have a pool and gym. Iron and board is available on request and breakfast on the go is also available if ever you want to start early (usually located by main entrance). Location wise, it's an hour away from the airport (less to no traffic) as most accommodations are. The place is quite close to the local markets (central market/night market). Atm machines and banks are right across the hotel or on the sides (maybank, ABA). Local eateries right across and sides of hotel are available. Lastly, the staff are really nice. They always check the guests comfort and ensured that we have a lovely stay in the hotel.

Remember: this is a summary from 4 worldly seasoned travelers. |Fitness area was ok, hot tub expected and hot suggested at 104 F|Music mostly colorful but not necessary lively. (Traditional)|Buffet breakfast was ok but the baked goods were somewhat mediocre. Yogurt toppings need more variety ie Nuts,raisins,berried fruit. |Include better coffee without a fee for a better 5 ⭐️ rating. ||The staff at the main desk, bellman,housekeepers were friendly and helpful every day.

It's actually a very nice hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but the beds are basic. The hotel has a spa including cold pool and hot pool and a small sauna. None were opening the time I went by.

A beautiful hotel within quick walking distance of many city sites. The staff was friendly, inviting, helpful, and accommodating. We booked the Khmer cooking class last minute, and they were able to work around our schedule. It was a fun experience. The couples massage was very relaxing and everything I needed after long flights. The pool area was beautiful and good for kids, couples, and our roudy group of young adults. If I ever find myself in Siem Reap again, I will be staying here again.

Perfect location, everything was nearby within walking distance, restaurants, pub street, massage & spa salon. Friendly staff, big room and a nice outdoor pool to chill if weather get hot. Nice buffet spear, smiling lady chef at the egg station, attentive server too, everybody serves with heart. Good Job !|Strongly recommend.
