Son Foguero is a beautiful, serene property, perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet. The grounds are charming and well kept, and the atmosphere feels authentic and relaxing. A couple of things to note: the hotel serves only vegetarian food, and while it’s fresh and thoughtful, options are limited. They also seem a bit short-staffed at times, which can affect service. The pool is lovely but small for the number of guests, and for the price, you might expect a little more. Still, it’s a charming escape.

This is the first time I’m writing a review because I really don’t want to waste time on this. Even after a month, the anger still lingers. One-night stay, €425. Checked in on August 31 and checked out on September 1. September 1 is my birthday. This stay ruined it. Hygiene and maintenance: On arrival, the bathroom was swarming with ants feeding on leftover food debris. Housekeeping had clearly not cleaned the floor. There was no duvet, only two thin blankets. The mattress was extremely hard. Thin wooden windows and walls had gaps that let insects in, and there was virtually no sound insulation. The bathroom door was cracked and the carpet was dusty. Breakfast service on the morning of September 1 around 10:30: The waitress, blonde with curly hair, Maria Catalina or similar, ignored us twice. She first served white couples who arrived after us, then served two Asian guests who also arrived after us, while continuing to ignore us. We smiled and tried to place our order several times. She was right beside our table yet refused eye contact and gave the feeling that she did not want to deal with us at all, even rolling her eyes. She said “You have to wait!!” We were angry and left without breakfast. About thirty minutes later, at 11:00, we checked out. At checkout she was really rude and at first refused to apologize. She lied repeatedly and claimed she had said “Please wait,” which she never did. When we asked her to apologize, she accused us of mocking her face. That was a baseless slander meant to deflect responsibility. While only half handling our complaint, she picked up the phone, spoke in Spanish to her friend, and ignored us again until we pressed her repeatedly. She finally gave a reluctant apology with no sincerity. Remembering it still makes me upset and I do not even want to think about it. When she realized we were checking out, she said “Thank God.” Her conduct was discriminatory, dishonest, and unprofessional. She behaved like a serial liar. She should be dismissed. People like this should not work in hospitality. Understaffed, poorly maintained, and far below any reasonable four star standard. Isolated location with nothing nearby. Do not book this hotel if you value your time and your trip.

Positives: - Good AC & mini-fridge - Fresh food and good wine - Stunning views on the fields - Nice relaxing pool area - Friendly staff - Stylish interior and authentic setting Negatives: - They asked for which occasion we came (our honeymoon) and did nothing to accomodate anything, which was weird to us. - only vegetarian options in the food - as the staff has to do everything (reception, bringing drinks and snacks, hosting the breakfast, lunch and dinner, answering questions, housekeeping,...) you tend to wait for sometime when you need them. They feel a bit understaffed at times - they didn't pick the phone while we tried calling on several different times of day and multiple numbers - pool cleanliness could be improved

An incredible stay from start to finish. Son foguero is honestly breathtaking. The staff are so so helpful and kind, especially the lovely kattie who could not do enough for us. Food is incredibly tasty and healthy and the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and have extremely comfy beds. ||As someone who loves to read trip advisors before a stay, I would recommend getting a car, as there is only one taxi service and it costs €20 to the local town Sineu and the taxi from the airport was around €75. However other than that no issues at all! ||Son foguero is a slow retreat, if you need something you ask - however this worked well for us. I would recommend getting a bike into sineu, it took about 15 minutes there and 13 back with some truly stunning views! ||Thankyou for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back! 🤍

A true central Mallorca oasis set in a tranquil finca environment, with warm and friendly staff and delicious food. While it is technically an agriturismo, the quality of service and customer care is superior to most hotels I've stayed in.||Don't forget to try out their daily morning yoga classes.||Warmly recommended!

It’s been almost a year since our stay at Agro Turismo Son Foguero in Mallorca, and it’s time I share this experience publicly because despite everything we went through, the hotel has never taken proper responsibility. My husband and I booked the most expensive room on the property, paying around €880 for a two-night stay. We were told there was no staff onsite past 9 p.m., but someone would be available 24/7 on WhatsApp. That reassurance could not have been further from the truth. On our last night, after packing up to leave early the next morning, we stepped out for a short 40-minute dinner. When we returned, we discovered our room had been broken into. The balcony door had been forced open, our luggage was rummaged through, and all my cash and jewelry, including family heirlooms with deep sentimental value were stolen. It was dark outside, terrifying, and we were alone. There was no hotel staff onsite to help us. Nobody responded on WhatsApp for OVER THREE HOURS. We, and other guests who were also robbed that night frantically texted and called the number we were given. Still no response. We were left to sit outside and fend for ourselves. If it weren’t for the kindness of other guests, we would have had no support at all during this traumatic event. Eventually, several hours later and right before the police arrived, someone from the hotel showed up. They offered no real apology, no acknowledgment of the danger and fear we experienced, no explanation for why no one was reachable despite promising 24/7 availability. This break-in was not random. The design of the room’s balcony doors made it possible only for someone familiar with the property to know how to access it. Even we didn’t realize one of the panels was actually a second, unlockable door. That’s a serious safety flaw the hotel should have addressed—but didn’t. After filing a police report and flying home the next morning, we spent the following year in back-and-forth communication with the hotel’s manager/owner. Initially, they refunded our stay (which was the bare minimum, considering they failed to provide even basic safety or service during an emergency). Then came months of vague promises and delays about compensating us for what was stolen. The manager repeatedly agreed to reimburse us for the stolen items, then changed his mind, over and over again. It has become clear that they were never serious about making things right. To this day, we have received no apology from the hotel for the trauma we endured, the loss of irreplaceable items, or the complete failure of their emergency protocol. If you are considering booking this hotel, know this: • There is no staff onsite at night. • There is no real 24/7 support. • Security is extremely poor. • If you’re robbed or need help, you’ll be on your own. This place markets itself as a peaceful, high-end escape, but in reality, it’s a property that does not prioritize guest safety and will abandon you when you need them most.

The hotel is beautiful itself, the breakfast was super complete with many options to choose from. Staff very friendly and polite. The room decoration and furniture could improve a bit, since its very rustic and a bit dark. Ambience at the pool area can be improved with some chill music. Overall a great experience!
