Sonia Hotel & Suites

I believe people changes the entire experience. not that hotel wasn't great, but beginning with Yuna, (Italian Lady behind the desk during the day) everyone was extremely friendly, no matter what time is it they were ready to help. not just saying, I lost my key card , and had to call the management at 2:00 a.m. in the night, nicest old lady came and helped me out, she still had a smile on her face. we will absolutely look no further place to stay at Kos.

From the outside Hotel Sonia looks like one you should pass by on this quiet side street. You would be wrong to do so. It's a 950 metre short walk from the ferry and easy to find just off the harbour. It must have been gutted and completely refurbished not long ago as everything looks new . The double beds are comfortable, the air-conditioning works quietly and well, the shower is hot and powerful, the fridge works and you have a kettle to make tea. The lighting is excellent. The WiFi is strong. The breakfast is sufficiently varied and you just help yourself to as much or as little as you want. You will be pleasantly surprised that inside it's far better than it looks from outside The offer an airport transfer for 55 euros or you can walk to bus station and get a comfortable bus for 3.5 euros pp. Apparently taxis are unreliable. Who knows. Close all the doors to make the air-conditioning work. Don't get too excited about your balcony. It will be minute.

Perfect location if you arrive by ferry and if you want to enjoy the Kos Town and old town. Staff are really kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and overall our experience was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

I stayed here for a week in between some travel work. Needed a place to catch up on sleep, computer work, and to recharge my batteries. I booked it last minute but it worked out so well. Great family run spot- the kindest people. Fantastic location- close to town and less touristic restaurants but still in a quiet area. 15 minute walk from my preferred beach club. Felt very welcome and safe here as a solo female traveller and would absolutely stay again if I come back to Kos. Thank you!

The hotel is at the very center of Kos and you can just walk to the center beaches, restaurants and tavernas. We are also very grateful to Juna who helped us about everything during our stay, especially her recommendation about where to eat good Italian food was amazing. Thank you so much!

Very clean hotel and great location close to the beach and local amenities and attractions. The staff are very friendly and very welcoming, loved our stay. A family run hotel who really care about looking after their guests, excellent value for money.
