Hotel Sonne

We only booked the restaurant for New Year’s Eve and loved the ambiance, setting, the service, and especially the meal. Outstanding, can’t recommend it highly enough.

An adorable, well appointed hotel in the heart of Andermatt. The rooms are clean, modern but still charming. A restaurant is on site for for breakfast and dinner. We truly enjoyed our overnight stay here.

Spent 2 nights in Sonne Hotel. Rooms very comfortable and clean. The restaurants offers a traditional swiss kitchen, which i appreciate a lot, since is probably the last hotel in Andermatt that offers you a real swiss mountain experience. Uncomplicated check in and check out. Very close to skylifts and easy to reach from the train station. Definitely worth a second visit.

Great hotel! Clean, nicely decorated, good service. The food in the restaurant is good, but not outstanding.

We had lunch here, great service, went with what was recommended and it was fantastic. Will definitely visit again.

Cozy wooden hotel which serves traditional Swiss cuisine in its restaurant. We really enjoyed the schnitzel and rosti with a local white wine while admiring the rustic decor. Our waiter was friendly but disappeared half way through the meal. Despite this, the owner took over serving us and other patrons and it all went fine. We'd definitely return!
