My husband and I stayed at Hotel Suzie Blue. The location is wonderful (the best!), the staff are incredibly kind, and there is always a very friendly and helpful team at the front desk. The room is very cozy yet perfectly functional. The room warmed up quickly, the water pressure was strong, and the hot water was consistent. Since the building is historic, sound insulation inside the building isn’t perfect, which is understandable—having earplugs can be helpful. However, there is no issue with noise coming from outside through the windows. I hope we come again and again.

This is the place to stay if you are visiting Paris. My third time traveling to this city from Australia and easily the best time I’ve had. The area is absolutely perfect for couples. Lots of beautiful restaurants, parks, shops, clean streets and of course Hotel Suzie Blue. It’s a little distance from the key tourist spots, but that’s why it’s special. Claire who was working at the front desk went above and beyond to write us a list of recommendations during our stay and they all hit the spot. The rooms are neat and spacious and the bed is comfortable. Only minor improvement is to update technology to Smart TV. The cafe in the lobby does outstanding breakfast/brunch. The smashed avocado hit the spot and the coffee was really good. They do good milk alternatives including Coconut milk as well. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Sookie Blue. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience feel special. One of the loveliest touches was finding two freshly baked madeleines waiting for me in my room on check-in, and then being surprised with another two the following night. Such a thoughtful gesture and a perfect example of the care the hotel puts into every detail. The downstairs café is another highlight. The coffee is excellent, the cakes are delicious, and it’s a great spot to relax before heading out to explore. Highly recommend staying here, beautiful rooms, amazing service, and those madeleines alone are worth the visit!

Location, coffee shop and staff are amazing. Great restaurants, cafes and access to the Metro are all-around. But a head's up that Room 20 is not great. It is a "simply" booking that is a converted closet. The doorway has a funky ledge, multiple thresholds, and the outer door (there's two for some reason) pushes against you aggressively as you're navigating the doorway. I tripped once and almost did multiple times during my stay. If they assign you Room 20 I would request a different room for your ankles' health. I received no warning about the doorway so I wrote this for future guests. Edit: Apparently they will blame the guest for an unsafe doorway. There is no photo that shows an exterior door pushing towards you as you navigate multiple inconstant steps with luggage. My recommendation would be to simply adjust the outside door so the hinge doesn't push against the guest leaving the closet room down multiple stairs. Also the "simply" is on the folio receipt,(see photo)...

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. I had to book five rooms for our stay with different dates and checkins, and they were able to accommodate and help me throughout the whole process. The location was great for shopping. We went specifically for a girls trip, and intended to do lots of shopping, and we did exactly that. There were so many great shops around the area. The hotel cafe was also delicious. Overall, a great stay. I would absolutely stay there again.

Google
We had the most amazing stay here!! We came for three nights and were in the cozy room but it honestly didn't feel that small considering we were in such a central part of Paris. So easy to access the metro, great breakfast, and a beautifully decorated room. We couldn't have been happier.

Staying here made our Paris trip truly special. The hotel is small, beautifully decorated, and full of personality. It sits in a lovely, vibrant neighborhood that felt both authentic and upscale—just minutes from amazing restaurants and boutiques we wouldn’t have found without local insight. The team was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. Every detail—from the cozy breakfast to the soft lighting in the rooms—was perfect. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. Merci for the unforgettable memories!

Google
We absolutely loved this hotel and would highly recommend it to others. The hotel itself was beautiful, from the lobby cafe to the lounge to the room itself. The room was on the smaller side (which we fully expected being right in the heart of the city), BUT we were pleasantly surprised by how things were arranged in the room to maximize the space. The closet shelving, luggage rack, and desk all provided extra space for our things so that we didn't feel too cramped in the room. Everyone at concierge was incredibly helpful in answering our questions, providing recommendations, and even letting us use their luggage scale. The location of this hotel is excellent, you're right in the middle of the Marais and can easily walk to many things including the metro. We loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
The Marais district spreads across parts of 3rd and 4th arrondissements (on the Right Bank of the Seine) and is home to many art galleries, trendy restaurants and fashionable boutique stores. It's not tourist central which translates to: you can find a BARGAIN place to stay here, if you know where to look. So, before we booked this hotel, we consulted this "other" website for advice. (a website other than yelp? shocking, I know!) The reviews proved to be spot on and we're so happy we stayed here! Our room was located on the 4th floor and they were doing construction during the time we stayed there, but the windows proved to be good at canceling out the noise. The room is small and had a weird triangular angle as a layout (since we stayed on a corner spot of the building) but everything was kept neat and clean. The bed is comfortable but overall, furniture is very basic and needs updating. The en-suite bathroom had a tiny bit more space than our closet sized one in London (that's not really saying much!) and the elevated shower area was just weird getting into. Do bring your own toiletries since they only provide a bar of soap. The extra things they threw in made this place at 160 euros/night a bargain: free wi-fi, a delicious continental breakfast AND a packed lunch (cold sandwiches, fruit and water). We saved time and money not having to stop and worry where to go for lunch during sightseeing since we can just sit on a bench and eat right away. I love how thoughtful this hotel is! The staff deserve extra kudos! Everyone was very helpful, spoke good English and was always cheerful with their greetings. Panduka (loved his smile!) helped us with making dinner/tour reservations and offered more information than what was asked. I looked forward to passing by the lobby and being greeted on my way out. For best rates, you can book My Hotel France Le Marais on booking.com. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! ********************************************************************************* How to reach the hotel from CDG airport: Take RER B, direction Massy-Paliseau, transfer at Gare du Nord. Switch to metro line 5, direction Place d'Italie. Get off at Republique, transfer to line 8, direction Creteil-Prefecture. Metro stop is Filles du Calvaire, Rue Commines is the next street after. Walk about 3 blocks and you'll find My Hotel. (the direction on the hotel's website isn't updated -- this is how we got lost!)

Yelp
Ok, so I need to explain some things about this hotel. 1) Nikki is awesome. She was super helpful and very nice. You need help, ask her. 2) It is a SMALL hotel. But that's ok, hotels and rooms are very small in Paris and Europe in general. The elevator only fits your luggage or just one person. Your room is just for sleeping and taking a shower. Use the toilet as much as you can here. You have to pay at most places to use them (50€). 3) I rated it a 3 Star Hotel because that's what it is. I am sure they don't expect anything more than that. Don't expect a luxurious experience here or anything romantic. It's a place to sleep and then head out to the city. 4) The location is 3 stars as well. We walked everywhere and only took Uber when we had our luggage. Takes about 25-30mins to get to your bus locations (Notre Dame is closest). Good exercise. Cheers!

Yelp
Friendly staffs! but the hotel is really small. Hotel room is decent, clean but very small, needs some TLC and NO AC. Lift is available, comfortable for only 1 person. I had two luggage with me, I couldn't move in the lift haha.... if you're claustrophobic you may want to just take the stairs. Hotel close to public transportation and restaurants. There's a bar across the street that opens until late.

Yelp
Things I look for in a hotel when traveling abroad by myself: - Safe neighborhood - Clean - En suite bathroom - Free wifi - Walking distance to where I want to be My Hotel In France Le Marais delivered on all five, and as a huge bonus is centrally located in the heart of the best shopping I've done in Paris. I will never stay anywhere other than the 3rd/4th arrondissements from now on. There are no frills, but who is actually going to spend a ton of time in their room anyways? The rooms are tiny (welcome to Europe), but great for a couple or a single traveler like me. I am pretty Paris savvy and didn't need much assistance from the front desk, but they seemed friendly and willing to help. The hotel is easy to get to from CDG using the train and metro, and there is a shuttle service that will drop you off at the airport at the end of your stay. Not the most inexpensive option, but convenient and way cheaper than a cab.

Yelp
The staff is amazing! They are so kind and helpful! Rougie gave us a nice room on the top floor with a view of the surrounding buildings. She also helped us with our Versailles trip. The rooms are small but clean and well kept. Now the freebies: breakfast (croissants, ham, cheese, egg, yogurt, coffee, juices), wifi (they gave us a huawei device that we could take around the city! No need for roaming or a local sim card, just carry it around and make internet calls and google map everywhere), wine and cheese from 6-8pm. And the location is safe and pretty cool. Close to a lot of shopping, bistros and bars. Walking distance to Notre Dame (15-20 mins, but a beautiful walk).

Yelp
I stayed here for four nights. This place is perfect for anyone who doesn't want to spend well over €200 on fancy hotel (e.g. college students, recent college graduates, or anyone that likes to save). Rooms: The rooms were in decent shape. The furniture is a bit dated and reminiscent of college dorm room furniture. There's very little room to spread out a full sized suitcase. The beds were made neatly and you have the option to get the towels/linens refreshed every day. My room had the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. The shower could barely fit one below average-sized person. For a few nights, it works, but space was definitely limited. Common Areas: The hotel offers wine and cheese every night from 6:00-8:00pm in their dining area. They also serve breakfast from 6:30-10:00am. There's plenty of seating but, similar to most of France, seating is cramped. The elevator barely fits one person with a suitcase and is a bit creaky. I found myself taking the stairs up to the 6th floor nearly every day. Staff: I had pleasant interactions with the staff. They were able to offer dinner recommendations in the area. There was always someone at the front desk and they speak English well. Le Marais/3rd & 4th Arrondissement: Le Marais is a cute section of Paris. There are plenty of boutiques, stores, cafes, bakeries, etc. While this area is known for its Jewish presence, I found that most stores were open on Saturday. The hotel is located near a few metro stops, making it very easy to travel throughout the city. The hotel is a ~15 minute walk from Notre Dame and a ~30 minute walk to the Louvre. It's very convenient and a great area to find a hotel if you want to avoid the super touristy areas. Overall, it's a convenient and (relatively) inexpensive hotel. It isn't a 5-start establishment, but it will get the job done if you don't want to spend an obscene amount on a hotel room you probably won't spend too much time in anyway.

Yelp
Do not recommend, not even of Motel 6 quality. Room is beyond tiny, bathroom can barely turn around in, no AC, no ice not very clean. Online photos very deceiving.

Yelp
The Marais is a pretty great neighborhood to stay in, if you can afford it--it's centrally located in the heart of Paris. This hotel is located about 2 blocks away from the St Sebastian Froissart subway stop--you may have some difficulty finding it, as it's tucked away in one of the jillion narrow streets Paris is so well known for, but it's so close to the metro that once you do, you probably won't mind. I stayed in one of the hotel's single rooms. As a New Yorker, I'm used to tiny, loud apartments, but this place really redefines "tiny". There's enough room for the bed, a table, and one of those small, fold-out "X"-shaped trayholder things I've never figured out the purpose of. A thin fold-in sheet of bamboo gave way to the most cramped bathroom I've ever seen. Fat people need not apply, as the sink is so close to the toilet, it would inevitably jam into them as they did their business, and crush them as they attempted to reach the shower. Also included is France's ubiquitous SHOWER CUBE. The showerhead itself is one of those "remove from wall and sprinkle yourself as you would a dirty dish" kind of things--if you leave the showerhead in its holster, it spins out of control, soaking the toilet, sink floor, bedroom, and occasionally the parts of you covered in soap. Women throughout France defended this design, as it apparently prevents you from washing your hair--apparently showercaps aren't very popular there. The first night I didn't hear much. The second and third night, however, the rooms next to and above me must have been occupied--every step either of the occupants took sounded like a very large animal was about to burst into my room at any moment. On top of that, there was construction going on in the stairwell (although I couldn't tell what they were actually doing, it involved a lot of general beating of things). Of course, this is Paris and a good neighborhood, so it's expected that the room would be small and insulation bad, but this place jilted me, even by the standards New York's own shoddy construction had lowered in me. The Wifi worked well and throughout my entire stay, which I would come to find an accomplishment as my travels brought me further south. Unless you're willing to drop around $200/night, you're not going to find an okay room in Paris, and this place is somewhat tolerable with earplugs. I wouldn't suggest it for a stay longer than 2 nights though.

Yelp
Very small rooms. Poor cable. No air conditioning. OK breakfast. Clean. Decent internet. If you need a cheap room and plan on being away all day then this will do but no frills.
