It is by no means a modern hotel with modern facilities, but it has character, and judging by the postcards displayed in reception, it has certainly had an extensive international clientele.||I believe one has to take into account the star rating of the hotel and the services it provides. For this reason, I give it an Excellent””. Why? From the moment of my arrival, I was welcomed in English (even though I had said nothing up to this point), was advised of where the sights were, and where the shopping centre was located.||The hotel itself appears to be an old converted building, which rather than detracting, has been used to create its unique character. It has a wonderful public lobby and courtyard in addition to its rooms. The rooms themselves are quite dated, and reminiscent of Eastern European rooms, but fully serviceable for all needs. My only major concern I had was the stability of the bed, which protested with worrying noises of collapse when sat upon or lay in. ||A complimentary served breakfast was provided, which meant a small amount of food, and a restriction of one drink. So, if you are a big breakfast eater, you will be disappointed.||Very well located for all the major sights and shopping.
