I stayed here for 8 days. The location is perfect! A few steps and you'll find different restaurants around the plaza. They moved me to the terrace room for ladies only with single beds which was great! I felt comfortable during my stay. They have a kitchen that can be used for cooking (for free, other hostels ask guests to pay to use the kitchen). They also have a rooftop with nice view of the sunset. Price is cheap compared to other hostels around. I'd definitely stay there again when i go back to Chefchaouen. 🇵🇭

I wanted to rate this place highly, but unfortunately, the staff experience changed my mind. I didn’t feel welcome here. The receptionist, who introduced himself as “Safi” but was also called “Mohammed” by others, tried to overcharge me. I understand this is a budget accommodation, but while others paid 60 Dirhams, he asked me to pay 65 Dirhams. Additionally, I was approached by someone who followed me and claimed he had guided me, despite me using Google Maps and not asking for any help. The receptionist insisted I pay him, which felt unnecessary and a bit strange. When shown to my room, I requested a lower bunk, which was clearly empty. However, the receptionist claimed it was occupied. Even the next day, the bed remained empty, and other hostel guests confirmed it had never been taken. This was disappointing and made me feel uncomfortable. That being said, the location is great, the rooftop is nice, and the overall setup is decent. Just a word of advice—treat your guests with honesty and respect. It makes all the difference.

@LetsGuide Hotel Souika is a good hostel.... And if you come in the low saisons you might have the same luxury as booking a one person room. Best is the view !! And the sound echo on the roof , Shouting : " no more Dutch !! "

A budget-friendly hostel, that exceeded my expectations with its remarkable cleanliness and inviting atmosphere. The staff's warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. An incredible value for the price, I couldn't have asked for a better experience during my stay at Chefchaouen

Pretty good guesthouse for a short stay. Located inside the market, it is a challenge to find the address 😔

Our stay at Souika was perfectly all right. The value for money was good, the rooms clean and the staff was friendly, though they weren’t particularly involved. It actually felt like a big hotel, not very atmospheric but fine. Everything is there: you get towels and there is also a small kitchen. One small thing was that the beds weren’t very comfortable, especially the sheets: they were synthetic and we got quite a few jolts from the bed. But nonetheless, we stayed for four nights and had a good time.

The staff was very helpful in moving me into a budget private room which was very affordable and suited my solo minimalist needs. 4 stars if in dorm, 5 if private everything was so blessed
