Hotel Southern Grand, Vijayawada

The hotel needs to improve its housekeeping standards. The pillow covers were not changed during my stay, which raises concerns about cleanliness. Additionally, the bed was not very comfortable, making it difficult to get proper rest. Overall, the experience could have been much better with more attention to basic comfort and hygiene.

We often go to Pilgrimage places and always try to stay in luxury hotels during our visits. However, our experience this time in the Southern Grand Vijayawada wasn't great. First, they claim to offer free pickup/drop services from the Airport/Railway station which isn't correct. Whenever you call to schedule a free pickup/drop, they will always say that the vehicle is busy and will not accommodate our requests. Also, their breakfast buffet options are very minimal and extremely costly as well. They definitely need to improve on providing better breakfast menu to the guests. Overall, our experience has been a mediocre one.

Good experience. The rooms were good. Clean and tidy. The staff were attentive. Some improvements needed in the restaurant. Every day they serve the same items. It is ok for the people who stays for a day. For those who stays for 3 to 4 days the food is boring. They make the chatney with dal instead of coconut which is not tasty. They shall serve uttapa in addition to plain dosa with onion or masala. Otherwise we liked our stay there.

We had a bad experience. Hotel people understood what is hygiene is. Rooms were so bad. Hand was sink was broken. Rooms were smelling very badly and on the bed there were lot of hairs and bed were stained. One more imp one there one old person in reception he is so rude with everyone including other lady receptionist and lies to customers do not address customers query. Good : idly was served not fresh it was a day old and vada was also old other food I didn’t tried as it was not good to try don’t fall for building look from outside

Had a comfortable stay at Southern Grand, this is belongs to Southern Travels. Rooms are very nice and fitted with modern interior. Staff is also very friendly, they have a multi cuisine restaurant, they serve buffet breakfast at ground floor. Nice and tasty food.

I had a pleasant stay at Southern Grand, Vijayawada. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to major attractions in the city. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable environment for relaxation. The amenities, such as the free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and television, worked well. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail with the room setup. The hotel’s restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes, and the food quality was quite good. The breakfast buffet had a decent spread, and I enjoyed the local specialties.

Rooms are average, service is slow. Buffet is available in breakfast and Lunch, mostly south Indian dishes only. Dinner is served in a la carte option. Food is awesome and delicious, dishes are very limited but whatever they serve is too good. U can also enjoy the views of Maa Kanaka Durga temple feom the 5th floor backside window.

Room is comfortable, breakfast is ok, not excellent. Bathroom doesn't have an exhaust. AC, TV are up and running good. For 3 adults, with extra bed for 24hrs the charges were ₹ 2670/- with free breakfast. I would suggest the hotel to a person i know as the stay was comfortable. The staff is well accommodating.
