The rooms is already a bit worn out specialy the beds because when you turn everything creaks. Be careful if you get a room on the 3rd floor because there is no elevator and everything has to be carried up on the stairs. Clean rooms. If you choose to buy breakfast in this hotel (35zl per person) I absolutely do not recommend. Breakfast is very basic and the coffee is only instant so it is better to buy breakfast in the city. Parking is free. Overall I will not stay here again because we booked another hotel with a fantastic breakfast for a similar price (breakfast also cost 35zl per person). This hotel in my opinion is only 2.5 stars.

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night during our weekend trip in that part of Poland. The hotel itself kind of isn't something very special, but it was a very good value for money and served our needs very well.||||First i must say that it is a bit outside the center - 15-20min on foot to old-town and on a big road - we had windows to the inner yard, and it was very fine, but i am not very sure how it would be if we had windows to the road... Probably a bit noisy, but not too much, as the wondows isolated sound quite weel - but not perfectly though. ||||Second, the room was very spacy. this was the first time i saw the room as big - it had a sofa and 2 single beds. However, i would have preferred a double bed as i was staying with my boyfriend. We did not want to move all the bedclothes to the sofa, so we slept each in our own bed. the bathroom was clean and fine - but nothing too special about it. ||||there was free wireless internet in the whole hotel.||||the breakfast was wonderful! we really enjoyed it, there was quite a big choice of various tasty dishes, not only cereals and sandwiches.||||we also had dinner in the restaurant - it was fine, the food was tasty, prices acceptable.||||there was a parking lot available in the inner yard - free of charge. not guarded, but not too easily available to outsider either.||||so overall - this is not a posh hotel, of course, but for a short stay it provides you with all the basic things you might require.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights in August 2021. Great stay! Did not need to interact with the reception staff a lot, but managed to find out whatever was necessary for our stay! A tip: you can request cups for use in the room.

We stayed at Sowa for five nights. The hotel, until '45 known as Bahnhofshotel, is located within walking distance (15-20 min) of Elblag's historic city center (very nicely restored) and harbor. The neighborhood is nice, with several pre-war buildings but also modern buildings lining al. Grunwaldska to the left and right of the hotel. There are bus and streetcar stops right in front of the hotel. Several ATMs and small supermarkets are nearby. The rooms are nicely set up, very clean, and are cleaned on a daily basis. Those facing forward can be a bit noisy with windows open (no AC in the rooms) on work day mornings. Those requiring absolute darkness to sleep well at night will want to bring something to cover their eyes, The rich breakfast offers an amazing spread of great deli meats, sausages, cheeses, jellies, yoghurts, boiled eggs, salads, tomatoes, cucumbers, breads, and pastries, with coffee, tea, and juices to boot. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak at least English and German in addition to Polish. Very good hotel, thetefore highly recommended.

When we visited in April we requested to view double rooms and were given keys to several rooms in the main hotel. Post viewing we advised the receptionist we would be booking via Booking.com assuming the double room option would be similar to the rooms we viewed within the main hotel. Instead we were given 2 rooms which resembled hostel/army barrack accommodation with 2 very small single beds in a very small space. The mattresses were stained & dirty and very uncomfortable. Our toilet cistern was faulty, water constantly running all night noisily. Because of the small capacity of the room, it was stifling hot even with the window open which again was a problem due to noise from the car park directly outside. We stayed one night out of the seven as we were unable to resolve the matter the morning after our arrival. The staff were extremely unhelpful, rude and inconsiderate to our opinions or needs. We had booked their function room for our wedding party which we also cancelled upon our departure as we were not comfortable or confident after our distressing experiences with the staff and the bedrooms. I would definitely NOT recommend.

Good location clean and basic but really only used bed to sleep.|Don’t know what rest of hotel or restaurant was like but served my purpose and was very very cheap.|Opposite a petrol station and McDonald’s and by the bus station.|Had no problem checking in or getting back into hotel late at night.

Low cost even though we had a suite. Basic facilities, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Yelp
Hotel Sowa in Elblag left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand instead of a normal room, they gave us a big hotel appartment, including two separate bedrooms, one bathroom with toilet and one separate toilet. On the other hand they made me sleep into a sofa that could be changed into a bed and it was kind of broken. Not the kind of stuff that one would present to customers in Belgium. But then again, the hotel only claimed to have two stars and it offered very good breakfast and dinner. So as far as the price/quality balance is concerned, we really had no reason to complain at all. Some staff members were more friendly than other staff members, but generally the hotel was good quality.
