We ordered steak asked for medium rare. |It was not even rare more like blue we sent back 3 times still came back on The 3rd time like med rare. Tha waitress was lovely shout out on her she was The best also, she looked emberassed and nervous coz she also saw How raw was The meat, anyway she did an Excelent job But The Kitchen need some Training…

After a week of hiking a family-friendly version of the Tour du Mont Blanc with our two daughters (8 and 11), we wanted somewhere to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy being together. We couldn’t have chosen better than Hotel & Spa Beau Site in Talloires. It’s one of those rare finds that feels like a hidden gem — perfectly placed right on the shores of Lake Annecy, with mountains embracing it on all sides and a sense of calm that settles in as soon as you arrive.||Talloires itself is a treasure — a little lakeside village of winding streets, old stone houses, and flower-filled balconies, with a charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a slower, more graceful time. The lake here is at its most magical: crystal clear, shimmering in the sun, and surrounded by a spectacular mountain backdrop.||From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we felt the warmth of a true family-run place. Corinne and François, the owners, have created something special — a place where the welcome is genuine, the smiles are real, and you feel instantly at home. The service was wonderful everywhere — in the restaurant, the beach bar, and the hotel bar — always kind, attentive, and effortless.||The food was outstanding. Breakfasts on the restaurant balcony quickly became a highlight of our days, with fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses, and that unbeatable view across the water. The beach bar menu was just as impressive — fresh, generous plates that we enjoyed right by the lake. On our very first evening, we were treated to a live music gig on the private beach — the perfect soundtrack to the sun setting over the lake. It felt magical.||We made the most of the hotel’s private lakeshore. The girls and I loved diving into the cool, clear water from the hotel’s own deck — a simple joy we could have repeated forever. We also hired a kayak and paddled together along the shoreline, seeing the village and mountains from a whole new perspective. After days filled with sunshine and swimming, the spa was our sanctuary — calm, warm, and perfect for soothing our tired hiking legs.||We left feeling deeply rested, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. This isn’t just a hotel — it’s a place where beauty, kindness, and simple pleasures meet, where Lake Annecy feels like it belongs to you for a little while, and where the memories stay long after you leave

This was a return visit and we found Hotel Beau Site even better than last year. The setting is beautiful, and all the staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are good and dinner in the restaurant is fantastic. I don’t recommend the half board option, as the food is much simpler and you will miss out on the really excellent dishes from the other menus. |The gardens and the beach are beautiful and we loved relaxing under the trees. |All in all, a five star experience.

A three star hotel at a five star price and a two star experience!The location in the middle of the village and overlooking the lake is stunning. However, they are officious and try to extract money out of you at every turn. It feels like the hotel is run to maximise the amount of money they get from you rather than to provide a great customer experience. One example is EURO 25 for breakfast. You can pay less than half that for a fantastic breakfast at the village cafe 50 meters away.

Beautiful location, garden and spa. We went with our baby and everything was child-friendly, he loved the baby pool. We arrived early and they prepared the room for us as quickly as possible. Everything was decorated with good taste and high quality, the bed was big, mattress and pillows comfortable, even the baby cot had a proper mattress.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff, good food, updated and well decorated rooms with a beautiful view. Our junior suite was big, bathroom large, and although they said the bed was only a double, it felt like a king. It was family friendly with toys in the bar and restaurant area, a green space for soccer, trampoline and badminton, a private shady (or sunny) beach area with bar and menu for lunch, and high chairs in the restaurant. This was our favorite hotel in Annecy area so far (and we have tried several). Parking was easy. The location is pretty much perfectly central to enjoy all Talloires had to offer. |Merci!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Talloires at Hotel Le Beau Site. Our room had everything we need and we even enjoyed a view of the lake! The private beach on the property is beautiful - it is where we spent most of our time. Staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at Le Beau Site if you are lucky enough to visit the stunning village of Talloires.

Perfectly situated on the shores of Lake Annecy. The views from the dining patio and the private beach with dock and bar were highlights. A locked bike storage room was a bonus. The rooms are not luxurious but perfectly lovely for sleeping. Excellent experience.
