Great hotel right in the heart of Begur. The room was very clean and the breakfasts were amazing. The views from the roof terrace and our balcony are some of the best in Begur. The staff were very friendly too!

We chose this hotel because we were expecting to have access to a spa and massage services. Sorry to say there was nothing classic or spa like at this hotel. First you must park your car in a public lot and walk through the entire town with your luggage. You may arrive to a locked entry with no one there to check you in. There is no lobby and no public area just and unpleasant stuffy entry. We chose a room facing the back as the front rooms ( which my be more classic and larger) are right over the very busy street and would be noisy. The room with the patio was small and dark even painted dark grey with no window, just a glass door to the patio. Walking into the basement for what was advertised as "The Spa" was a bit terrifying and in the heat of the summer, unbearable. We loved Begur , but we did not love this hotel.

The hotel met my expectations but ever so slightly disappointed that it did not exceed given other feedback. Tucked away in a small but busy street we got to the hotel but could not get into reception. We had to wait a short while for someone to come along and let us in. The room we had was a room with balcony and not the veranda as hoped. The room was large enough although photographs can be very deceptive. It did not quite match the photo. But hey, the large comfortable bed and storage space combined with a great shower, good wi-fi and complimentary tea / coffee makes up for it. The downside was that the balcony was cosy and the curtains see through. Our room overlooked the street, which was noisy at times and it would be important to bear in mind that in the height of summer this is going to busy and noisy.||||When we were there we had building work going on opposite but thankfully this did not start too early in the morning. Like the hotel restaurant we did not use the spa, it's small but a great place to soak and chill out. Breakfast was included and has to be said, delicious. Egg and bacon was tasty and a host of other food available to set you up nicely for the day. Very attentive and polite staff (especially at breakfast) but the receptionist surely could afford a smile? Overall it is a lovely, comfortable hotel and being so central to Begur it clearly is a winner but having to Begur in the middle of the summer I would be looking for an alternative on the periphery of Begur.

Begur is a Catalan town with beautiful architecture typical of Catalan in the old town. There are many restaurants and bars in the centre and hotel is right in the middle of town. Therefore access is on foot but there is parking a very short walk away. Although the town is lively as soon as you enter the hotel there is an air of tranquility. This is also reflected in the spa area that could be used by guest with no charge unless you wished a specific treatment. The room was very clean with good air conditioning and a well stocked mini bar if you wanted it. The bed was incredibly comfy allowing a good nights rest. Breakfast was extensive and fresh. The staff were very friendly helpful and courteous. We loved this town and indeed the hotel. Would definitely return.

Stayed for four nights Wed - Sat at the beginning of September and loved it. Room was a good size, bed comfy, good shower. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection. We loved the spa and visited everyday, due to the small size of hotel the spa was never crowded and we often had it to ourselves for 20 minutes or so. Staff were polite and considerate, our flight was very early on Sunday morning meaning we would miss breakfast so on Saturday night staff delivered a selection to our room for us to have before we left, a nice gesture. ||Highly recommended

I took my wife to the Classic Hotel Begur with two of our friends to celebrate her 50th birthday. I can honestly say that this is a lovely little hotel. The room was very clean and tidy, the view from the balcony looked up to the castle. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful and polite, breakfast was traditional as you would expect.||||The Spa facility is down in the basement small and intimate with everything you need to relax and unwind. As for the location you cant get better, it is bang in the middle of the square. Turn right out of the hotel door and your in it. Begur is a lovely little town with a traditional feel rather than your normal tourist resort. The Tapas bars and restaurant's are all good value we never had a bad meal.||||All in all I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break, we will definitely be back next year.

We were in love room 2016. It's a good room with a very big and comfortable bed and a very big hydromassage bathtub, very nice. The price of the room includes access to the spa on the basement, which includes a hot water pool and a small sauna which, in our case, was not very warm. Breakfast was included, not bad.|For the price we paid, very good, we would go back

Just like the Kate Bush sone, this place was LUVELY. Our room was beautiful and romantic. The bed was super comfy and the private spa hour was magic. The staff were friendly and although we brought our own cava we had no chance to open the bottel due to the amount of free cava provided.||||We took our private spa hour from 23h-00h and found the space lit with candels and cava awaiting us. We were give complete privacy to relax and enjoy the space. Everything was clean and beautiful. ||This was mins break heaven.
