We really enjoyed our three day stay at Hotel La Cueillette! Can't recommend enough if you plan to stay in Meursault. Hotel was a nice mix of oldworld french wine country decor (grand dining room, chateau layout) with modern rooms and beautiful views -- you can purchase wine produced from the vineyards on the property. The rooms themselves are modern and comfortable, with nice bathrooms and nice bed.
The restaurant is really great for both breakfast and lunch / dinner. The food is really fresh -- lots of produce grown onsite. If eating dinner and the weather is nice, try to eat outside on the terrace and catch a sunset.
Also they have bikes for your use! Definitely borrow one and bike out through the veloroute to some of the neighboring towns. This is a must-do in Meursault.
The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. Really lovely people who took such good care of us. We had a couple of silly mishaps (bike accidents, taxis not showing up when they were supposed to) and the staff went above and beyond. When I fell off my bike, the hotel picked me up off the veloroute and brought me back to the hotel. When our taxi did not show up to take us to the Beaune train station early in the morning, the hotel owner drove us to the train station in his car!
