This is a review of the grounds and restaurant only. We ordered the octopus and the scallops with eggplant. Both were excellent and perfectly prepared. Gorgeous presentation. Would not order the mushrooms again, just not as good as other 2 dishes. For dessert we got the creme brulee, definitely passable but not mind blowing. Ambience was great. Grounds couldve been better maintained, could see quite a bit of trash strewn around from the main pathway. Didnt stay here so no comment regarding rooms etc.

Visited for two nights back in April, the journey to get to the place has some stunning views and you're only a stones throw away from a quaint village. The moment you pull up your breath is taken away - the hotel and its surroundings are beautiful. Inside, the staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are spacious and clean. The spa is luxurious with a very special view! It was surprisingly quiet around the hotel although I guess we weren't in peak season. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent spot to start hikings in the area although public transport from here is very limited. Staff at the reception was very accommodating with transportation and arranging hikes in the area. Although we were hoping for a higher English level from a 4 star hotel. The Spa was a nice extra. There were not many guests when we came. Turkish bath was unpleasant due to water dripping from the ceiling. A pain to pay by card due to limited connection. Restaurant has only 3 vegetarian options out of 30 food options on the menu. This can be improved.

The hotel is good, room was small and there was only air conditioner, no heaters. The WiFi was good, the toilet was small (I could hit my head with ceiling), the beds & pillows were hard, no extra pillows, a couple of extra blankets and light would come in from the main corridor. The restaurant on the other hand was very good, we had the menu of the day (media pension) and they provided a couple of vegetarian options, all the food was excellent. The hotel & restaurant service were very good too. The spa was nice, small but it had views to the mountains which makes it beautiful. Overall it was a good experience, recommended.

This is a good hotel in a beautiful setting, surrounded by silence and green mountains. It´s a new establishment, but everything has been built to look traditional and related to the area. Rooms have a regular size, nicely decorated in a vintage style, with comfortable beds. Everything is clean. One strong point was the wide deck overlooking trees and mountains. As far as I know, cars are parked in the vast open space just at the entrance. My rate didn´t include access to the spa, so I had to pay extra. That entitles you for staying there for two hours. That´s enough, the spa isn´t not particulary big, but it´s quite complete, everything works OK, jets are strong and the water is hot. Very friendly staff at reception.

Lovely hotel in the mountains. Stayed for 3 nights in early July. Hotel was surprisingly quiet, only saw a few other guests. The hotel restaurant was very nice with very nice local food and wine. Very little English spoken. The breakfast could be better. Our room was very small, think it was a standard double, but it was clean and warm.||||One thing for management to note - they have a small paddle tennis court which we played on. Unfortunately there were quite a few dead birds on the court, which I believe is because the high sides of the court are made out of clear plastic, and the birds don't realise its plastic, fly into it and die. In the middle of the mountains where there are so many birds, you need to put some stickers on the clear plastic so they don't fly into it.

The only good thing in this hotel is its location and the stuff in the reception and the dining room. The maintenance is average. The toilet wasn't stable, the door blinds didn't work. In order to get from the room to the lobby or the spa we needed to walk in an big open patio and it was freezing outside...!! :( The spa is beautiful, but the woman at its reception was not kind and didn't have the patience to give information about the spa. The price is very high for the time they let you be in the pool. With some improvements this hotel can be great.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and the public rooms are attractive together with quiet and efficient service. The grounds are extensive and cater well for outdoor relaxation and dining. In the winter the hotel takes on an alpine feeling with woodsmoke, sunshine an coolish temperatures.
