We choose this hotel because of the roofterrace with beautiful views. That's what we read. Well, three old chairs and no atmospere to enjoy the beautiful views and area. Just give it a little effort and guests will enjoy it.||The rooms were fine and clean. The central area (lounge/bar/restaurant) miss an atmosphere as well. All very functional. To be honest, it was ok but I wouldn't recommend it to family and friends. Eventhough I still believe with a little bit of effort it can turn into a lovely place.

A very pleasant place to stay. It is a very quiet village that is worth getting to know. The hotel is nice although we didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities. I would like to go back again. It is a newer building made to look old and it fits in with the character of this mountain town. Food near the hotel is expensive, but if you walk down into town you can find typical bar food at a reasonable price.

Is place is absolutely ondrful and totally unspoilt.. A perfect getaway. The service was very good and was reasonable value for money. My only criticism is that the bedroom electronic keys didn't work very well and I had to go down to reception every time I wanted to enter the room to get recharged. ll in all, a nice spa break and a wonderful medieval village.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the hotel for a weekend in early May. We decided to splash out and stay in the suite, room 424. The suite is absolutely wonderful, with a huge Jacuzzi set in the living room right beside the window onto the private roof terrace and a lovely fireplace in the middle of the room which the staff will happily light for you (admittedly, for 30 Euros). Even though Mogarraz is set in beautiful surroundings we could hardly bring ourselves to leave the room.||||The service was impeccable. Marta at reception was very friendly and helpful, we were given a bottle of sparkling wine and a large fruit basket on the second day. Breakfast was the typical selection of excellent local meats and cheeses, with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice.||||We visited the spa once during our stay - our Jacuzzi didn't motivate us to go their more often. The spa is large and relaxing, with plenty of places to lie down and relax - the reception manages bookings to ensure too many people do not visit at the same time.||||All in all - a super experience. Highly recommended!

We booked for three nights but stayed only two. The room was fairly comfortable, but was shabby and needed cleaning and refurbishment. There were broken fittings in the bathroom, including the shower bracket, which meant that the shower could be used only as a hand held device. The food in the restaurant was expensive and very poor quality. The bad memory of the spaghetti carbonara, with uncooked bacon lumps, will stay with me for a long time. Staff were largely disinterested in their guests. WIFI in the room was intermittent and the signal poor. There was no designated parking. The breakfast was good - the only thing I would recommend about the hotel. I would not consider this to be a four star hotel. We did not use the spa.

We lucked into this place at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised by the nice beds, the decor, the hotel restaurant and especially by the spa inside the hotel. It's not large but it has a lot of stations on the circuit, and was very relaxing, especially after a hot day on the motorcycles. The village itself is lovely to walk around.

Really nice hotel with a great spa. The surroundings we're stunning! The room had all that it needed and the food in the restaurant we're ok. I would really recommend this hotel to both families and couples.

We stayed 3 nights and had a great time. Good food and many options to choose, well looked after room, well organized spa, moreover friendly staff.||The village of Mogarraz is very very charming.||We also could enjoy visiting neighbouring villages, such as Miranda de Castañar, Bejar, La Alberca.
