"The seaside resort town of Arcachon is a perfectly pleasant setting for a place like Hôtel Villa-Lamartine, a modestly scaled and thoroughly charming boutique hotel. It’s located right in the heart of this relatively quiet town, which means convenience but no crowds; the building’s elevation means the rooms and suites face out to sea from private balconies or terraces. The puzzlingly named Eaton’s Neck Corner combines meeting facilities and spa services under one umbrella, and while the food and beverage offerings only extend as far as breakfast and afternoon tea, the surrounding streets present no end of options." - Tablet Hotels
Front desk ladies were all wonderful! Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was great. Room and bathroom old-fashioned and furnished with clunky “antiques” that aren’t really useful for a hotel. Breakfast room very small and coffee machine was always busy. You felt like you were in the way every time you went up to the buffet for a coffee! Sitting outside was better. Good parking. Good location. View from room was looking onto parking lot and buildings.

A lovely smaller hotel in the centre of town. Quiet and room was a reasonable size but the tiniest ensuite I have ever seen, but it was fine for just me. Only a few minutes walk to the main street and through to the square where there were a number of cafes and a market in the square the two days I was there. I had breakfast in the square both days. It was only a short walk down to the sea with lots of lovely shops on the way!

Pretty hotel with lots of charm. Delightful lady at reception, super helpful. We stayed in a deluxe room which was lovely with a balcony and the shower was wonderful. Rituals products as amenities which we love
We will be back !

A lovely hotel with friendly staff and centrally located between the sea and the train station. We had a cosy room that was well designed for its compact size. Great breakfast in the nice dining room beside the reception. Overall great experience.

Central position, small and cosy, quiet, very nice people, enough space in the rooms, clean and parking available!

The villa looks beautiful and the red carpet was a nice touch. The wallpaper was great and the furniture. We had a family room. The kids on a sofa bed. It was quite cramped with the sofa bed. Probably better for couples. The streets nearby are pedestrianised so you need a special code to enter. We paid 25 euros for the secure hotel car park per night. The balcony was over the streets not the sea. We could see an elderly family across from us a lot. Very close to the shops, beach, winter town villas. Good aircon. The water bottles were replenished which was a nice touch. There were macaroons when we arrived. Lovely tea bags. Seemed very expensive to us from London but maybe Arcachon rates. The receptionist was helpful with a map tour and bike rental.

Absolute gem of a boutique style hotel, in a perfect location close to the beach in Central Arcachon. They also have parking (at an extra charge).
Breakfast was good and they had a little basket of gluten free stuff for me.
We got a last minute deal, so I got a room with a balcony. It was on the fourth floor, so quiet, with a view over the rooftops and street.
