The beaches in the area are beautiful and the view - which is perhaps the only highlight of our stay. However, the positives end there.
For the high price per night, this hotel feels like a complete rip-off - poor value for money.
The rooms are clearly showing their age and are in desperate need of renovation. What really frustrated us were the numerous additional charges - we had to pay extra for basic amenities like sunbeds (and parking), which could be included at this price point, as there is no parking close by.
The dining situation was particularly disappointing. The hotel restaurant was closed during our stay, and the hotel bar was also shut down. The breakfast was monotonous - exactly the same limited selection every single day with no variety whatsoever. Don’t expect any pancakes or other breakfast favorites.
The other option was the beach bar, which operates independently from the hotel, meaning you constantly need to carry money for any food or drinks.
It felt more like we were staying at a budget accommodation rather than paying prices.
There was no service; if there were any conversations, they were very friendly.
Given the numerous issues and the price paid, some form of compensation would be appropriate - and not just a discount for a “next visit” that will never happen.
