Hotel Sri Saravana

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the temple and within walking distance. The rooms are quite spacious, though the bed could have been more comfortable and the cleanliness could be improved. Hopefully, the room and service will be better on our next visit.

Very close to temple, nice management, good staff. They even arranged luggage drop till auto stand. Rooms are clean, AC rooms are very good. Terrace view is also so beautiful.

Not Worth the Stay – Inconvenient and Poorly Managed I stayed at Sri Saravana Lodge in Rameshwaram, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. One of the biggest inconveniences was the parking situation. Despite being listed as having parking, it’s nowhere near the lodge. We had to park quite far and walk with all our luggage, which was especially frustrating in the heat and crowds. The rooms themselves were just average—basic amenities, but nothing felt clean or properly maintained. The bathroom wasn’t very hygienic, and the overall upkeep of the lodge was lacking. Staff seemed disinterested and not very helpful when we asked for assistance or raised concerns. If you're traveling with family or elderly people, I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere. There are better options in Rameshwaram with easier access and better service.

The night Staff here were more helpful than the guy working front desk during the daytime. His name is Alar and he is super rude don't know how to talk to customers and simply asking them to checkout or he would not give the vehicle keys. Worst fellow!!! The rooms are ok. If you don't want customers then bloody don't keep a hotel open! You should fire this kind of people who don't give 2 cents about customers and talking as if he is doing some bloody favour or letting customers stay for free. Location wise it is very close to the temple. Don't except the rooms to be clean even after paying a high price for a Deluxe room. The bedsheets are dirty and WC looked like it is going to cavein when you sit on it. Given it's proximity to the West gate of the temple it's no surprise that they get a lot of pilgrims and tourists but by now they should know how many staff are needed to manage the rush and have stuff as back up. Aside from the location this hotel has nothing going on for it.It is quite pricy as well for the kind of rooms and facilities that they are providing.

Location was exactly in front of temple entrance. But cleanliness is average. No towel provided. Request for late check out since long queue at temple, management charge us 1000 rupees for check out at 12.45pm

Worst hotel ever visited. No maintenance. Water was leaking, holes on the false roof, pathetic maintenance. Not even they changed the foot mat, it was torn. Room was smelling very bad. Location is near temple, but we need to walk a lot to reach the hotel, car parking too very far. For extra mattress too we asked them more then 5 times, such was their service.

Sbi guest house. Good location hotel with basic amenities. Location is good

I have an stay in the SBI HOLIDAY home at the 1st floor of the hotel. The room is very nice. Hotel staff are also very cordial. The location is nice for pilgrim purpose just in front of the South Gate. IThe only negative aspect I feeled that there is no parking and had to walk almost 300 meters with family n luggage.
