Absolutely the Worst Hotel Stay – A Complete Disgrace This hotel should be ashamed to even call itself part of the hospitality industry. The employees don’t know the first thing about welcoming guests—no smile, no warmth, not even a basic namaste. It felt like they were doing me a favor just by standing there. If this is how staff are trained, both the manager and the director should be fired immediately, because leadership here is nonexistent. The entire building is filthy. Bathrooms reek, the bathtubs are stained, and the shower curtains are so dirty they could probably stand up on their own. Replace them, or at least wash them once in a while—basic hygiene is not optional in a hotel. The place makes big promises, but none are kept. This was not just disappointing—it was insulting. If you care at all about your money, your comfort, or your dignity, avoid this hotel at all costs.

This is probably the best hotel in Tansen. It’s high up on the hilltop, and has amenities that would make some international 5 stars tremble. The food is great, the staff is friendly. I made the mistake of booking the Ranimahal close by - and I have a review on that, I’m sure that hotel is good for certain folks but not what I was looking for - and I ended up swapping here.||The room was unique, a cabin like space with spacious layout, good WiFi, and drinking water. It reminded me of some places I had stayed at in Big Bend, sky facing mysterious cabins in Texas.||If you see the mountains or the hills, you’ll realize the view outclasses most hotels on the planet.||You can’t go wrong picking this hotel but keep these in mind||1. It’s pretty expensive relative to nearby places for foreigners. But of course that’s all relative.||2. Bugs galore. The view is unbeatable but watch out for the bugs that inhabit your room - it is far less than other places but still there in reduced quantities. However this isn’t really a con as this comes with the area - and they offer bug away to keep them out. ||3. They’re not on Expedia - I should have used tripadvisor but not being on expedia makes them tougher to find initially.||4. During my stay, the power went out city wide, and the hotel hasn’t invested in generators that keep the AC running. However this was only a minor issue.||5. Their cabins have awesome roof windows that close but mine was broken. However they graciously let me swap rooms!||They will soon have a gym, have an outdoor pool and sauna that i didn’t trust to use, have amazing food with great views, help you grab taxis for local excursions into Tansen, and in general are the best hotel in the area. Im giving it 4 stars for the minor cons I mentioned above but i am positive this hotel is a great stay!||The views will leave you breathless!

I stayed for 3 days and had the very worst experience. I had never seen such poor and horrible service. This was the worst experience I ever had. Raising a building doesn’t mean it has become a hotel. A good hotel needs good management, polite & professional staff and prompt services, which this hotel lacks. Delivering a simple meal (Nepali Veg Thali) which is not anywhere out of the box/menu simply takes more than an hour. The order for dinner was given at 0730 PM and served at 0945 PM. That too, on repeated calls, the staff gave lame excuses. This happened twice during my stay. I believe the staff goes to buy the vegetables and other basic items on receipt of an order from the guest. 🤔 There is nothing lower than 1 star, otherwise I would have gone for that. Very pathetic service 👎 BIG NO & NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL The owner needs to rethink the management and staffing of the hotel.

After spending a few days in Lumbini during the peak of summer, this place felt like heaven to us. However, I had a mixed experience during my one-day stay. The food here is excessively priced, and they didn’t have most of the items listed on the menu. I found the rooms overpriced for what they offered — a decently sized room with basic amenities, but the towels provided felt like rough sacks. While I was impressed with the location and how easy it is to visit all the landmarks of Tansen, the quality of the food and the pricing strategy need to be thought of.

Location is very nice, there is a good view overlooking nearby hills. The staff is accommodating to anything you may need and the rooms are kept clean. The food is good and fresh although the restaurant the menu isn't updated. The hotel has lots of ameneties such as sauna, swimming pool, restaurant, coffee house, gym, and jacuzzi. I visited from the United States and I found the luxary rooms to be very affordable. The sun roof was pleasant and you can see the stars at night.

We recently stayed at Hotel Srinagar for a family trip with our kids. Positives: The hotel staff and restaurant were excellent. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, providing great service. The food was tasty, though a bit spicy. There was a nice kids' playground that our children really enjoyed. Negatives: Unfortunately, our room had an unpleasant smell when we checked in, and the toilet had poor airflow, which made our stay less comfortable. Overall, the hotel was in satisfactory condition. It has been operating since 1975, which shows its reliability and appeal. Plus, the hotel's location is one of its best features.

Food took more than an hour to come. None of the services (jacuzzi, swimming pool, gyn etc) were actually available. All a scam. Would have rated 0.

Very bad service according to price, room is not good pillow are not good worst breakfast overall not good service ,hard to sleep there due to pillow ,toilets and bathroom also not good only location and there views are satisfactory please maintain price and service
