The location was uphill of the train station so when dragging your suitcase, you get a workout. However it is very close to the amazing Kloster Einsiedeln and a number of restaurants etc that really makes up for that. The room was small and very cosy - as the ceiling is quite low, but I liked that. The bed was a single but a decent size. There is a "set" airconditioning where there is air con, but there is no control so the room is a plesant temperature but if you want it cooler, there is no option for that.

The Hotel is clean, quiet and quaint. The staff is friendly and the food was excellent and healthy. The community is small and everything is within walking distance. The area is ideal for a quiet stay in a small Swiss village.

We stayed there on a high school European tour with 45 people. The rooms were perfect for our needs. The staff was very helpful and flexible. The location was perfect and beautiful. Thank you for a great experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. I stayed here for two nights with an EF Tours group, and the experience was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating- especially considering the size of our group of 17 and 18 year-olds. The rooms were spotless, the location was beautiful, and I really loved the way the beds were set up with each side getting its own duvet! But the real highlight was the breakfast. The eggs were sourced from a local farmer, the bread and charcuterie were super fresh, and the cappuccinos were delicious. After staying in several hotels throughout this tour, I can confidently say this one stood out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Good for a 1 night stay. Simple but elegant and freshly renovated boutique hotel perched at the central street facing Kloster Einsideln, it’s 1 min walk away. Breakfast with a focus on high-quality local produce, offering eggs, cheese and sausage from neighboring businesss is a great touch. Unfortunately there were 2 minuses for me. First of all, no kettle in the room, which I would expect especially in winter time, unfortunately wasn’t available even upon request, therefore I would at least expect a cup of hot water provided, which was not the case. Also the elevator didn’t work so we had an option to either to go to the 3rd floor up the stairs with all the heavy luggage or go to the backyard to the stuff elevator outside. That spoiled the overall nice experience a bit.

This hotel is uphill from the station, but manageable even with a suitcase. It is a few steps from a fabulous bakery and cafe and 20 metres to the Monastery. There are also a few restaurants close by. Perfect location.|Rooms are small but good enough. The "air conditioning" is heating not cooling!||There is a luggage storage room if you get here earlier than check in time. Staff are very obliging.

It was really nice and cozy hotel to stay in Einsiedeln. They have dry and wet Sauna it makes you very warm on the snow day. 7 min away from station and the Abbey is in front of you - the best location! Staff were really friendly and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

A newly renovated, smartly designed hotel. Lots of power outlets in the room, perfectly cleaned room daily, daily reminders to take advantage of the sauna (we didn't use it because we focused on our Faith activities), very cheerful and helpful hotel reception. The Closter and a whole bunch of restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Good flat rate deal on parking. We paid CHF12 only instead of the CHF96 charge for 4 days and 3 nights. ||Hotel guests get 10% discount if they eat in St Georg Restaurant next door. This restaurant was ||a bonus! We had 2 of our 3 dinners there. Wonderful Italian dishes! The owner and his waiter were very warm and accommodating. ||||Excellent value for money! We will stay here again next time we visit Einsiedeln!

Yelp
Stayed for 5 days starting June 28th. Nice hotel in the middle of Einsiedeln, Switzerland. It's a nice small town with an old monastery that's worth the trip there to visit. Lots of nice hiking trails to get in some amazing views of the countryside. We came to Switzerland for a family reunion in Horgen where we'd made arrangements with an AirBNB. Those plans fell through, so we ended up here... a little bit away from the reunion, but not terrible. The hotel is right on the main street so it's easy to get to. The staff is friendly and spoke English well, although I was constantly trying to improve my Swiss German. The rooms are need and clean... if a bit small. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was really quite good. Nice selection of breads, fruit, yogurts, soft boiled eggs and nice cheeses and sliced coldcuts. They had an excellent coffee machine too. Swiss coffee has to be the best I've ever had. Made me buy a Nespresso machine last time I was here. There is no A/C, which didn't matter as the nights we were there, the air was cool and crisp, however, there is an elevator and free wifi.

Yelp
I went on a spring break trip across Europe and this hotel was my favorite hotel that I have EVER been in. Not only was the room extremely nice and clean, but the manager personally showed us to the dining room and introduced himself. The whole staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They even had cards to hand out with the wifi password on it since we were all a bunch of teenagers haha. Not the mention the wifi was free!! We had an amazing view of the streets too and being next to the monastery was just incredible. 10/10 would recommend. This hotel is amazing and completely underrated!
