I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. I stayed here for two nights with an EF Tours group, and the experience was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating- especially considering the size of our group of 17 and 18 year-olds. The rooms were spotless, the location was beautiful, and I really loved the way the beds were set up with each side getting its own duvet! But the real highlight was the breakfast. The eggs were sourced from a local farmer, the bread and charcuterie were super fresh, and the cappuccinos were delicious. After staying in several hotels throughout this tour, I can confidently say this one stood out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Good for a 1 night stay. Simple but elegant and freshly renovated boutique hotel perched at the central street facing Kloster Einsideln, it’s 1 min walk away. Breakfast with a focus on high-quality local produce, offering eggs, cheese and sausage from neighboring businesss is a great touch. Unfortunately there were 2 minuses for me. First of all, no kettle in the room, which I would expect especially in winter time, unfortunately wasn’t available even upon request, therefore I would at least expect a cup of hot water provided, which was not the case. Also the elevator didn’t work so we had an option to either to go to the 3rd floor up the stairs with all the heavy luggage or go to the backyard to the stuff elevator outside. That spoiled the overall nice experience a bit.

This hotel is uphill from the station, but manageable even with a suitcase. It is a few steps from a fabulous bakery and cafe and 20 metres to the Monastery. There are also a few restaurants close by. Perfect location.|Rooms are small but good enough. The "air conditioning" is heating not cooling!||There is a luggage storage room if you get here earlier than check in time. Staff are very obliging.

It was really nice and cozy hotel to stay in Einsiedeln. They have dry and wet Sauna it makes you very warm on the snow day. 7 min away from station and the Abbey is in front of you - the best location! Staff were really friendly and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

A newly renovated, smartly designed hotel. Lots of power outlets in the room, perfectly cleaned room daily, daily reminders to take advantage of the sauna (we didn't use it because we focused on our Faith activities), very cheerful and helpful hotel reception. The Closter and a whole bunch of restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Good flat rate deal on parking. We paid CHF12 only instead of the CHF96 charge for 4 days and 3 nights. ||Hotel guests get 10% discount if they eat in St Georg Restaurant next door. This restaurant was ||a bonus! We had 2 of our 3 dinners there. Wonderful Italian dishes! The owner and his waiter were very warm and accommodating. ||||Excellent value for money! We will stay here again next time we visit Einsiedeln!

The hotel is close to the monastery and there are a number of restaurants nearby (including that of the hotel, which we didn't try).|The receptionists were friendly and helpful.|The room we large enough, clean and had sufficient storage space.|The big problem was that the room has no A/C and not even a fan. As the night was warm, we had to sleep with the windows open. Despite being a non-smoking hotel, the guests in the room below ours decided to share their smoke by blowing it out the window - which went straight into our room. Also in the morning hotel staff sat smoking on the outside stairs to ensure that we could "enjoy" cigarette smoke from both directions!|At about 5 a.m. the delivery vans started arriving and there was shouting and doors banging, so our room was not only smoky, but noisy!||A couple of other less significant issues:|The breakfast cost CHF 18 per person - not free, as stated here (but to be fair - the hotel's own website does give the price of the breakfast).|The hotel doesn't have it's own car parking. Guests can use the nearby park house at the reasonable price of CHF 12 per night, but this is a 10 minute walk away and only allows entering and leaving once. There is no short term parking near the hotel for unloading luggage. ||In short: 2 stars in summer - 4 stars in winter (average 3 stars)
