The Hotel St. Marie was AWESOME!! Just off of Bourbon Street, but once you closed the door to the balcony we could NOT hear it. The private balcony on Toulouse Street was small, but great for crowd watching. The shower was hot, beds were soft, and staff was very knowledgeable of the area. ANYTHING you could ever want from the French Quarter was within walking distance. The pool isn’t huge, but very nice and the times are just suggestions as long as you are quiet. EXCELLENT place to stay - “We WILL stay here again when we come back to NOLA” according to my wife.

The hotel has a great location in the French Quarter a block from Bourbon Street. Despite the proximity, there was no noise or disturbance from outside. There is a beautiful courtyard with a small swimming pool. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The bell staff, especially Joe, went above and beyond with local tips and helpful hints. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location! Relatively quiet and close to the Mississippi River. Pleasant rooms, refrigerator but no microwave. Very nice staff. Just one block from Bourbon Street but you don't hear the noise. Charming design and cute little balconies where you can have your breakfast.

From the moment we checked in . Everything was perfect!! Keisha at the front desk was amazing and so helpful!! Jerome was great also! We were given the wrong room as we had chosen a courtyard view room with a balcony . Wasn’t their fault. We booked through Jet Blue vacations. They were able to move us into the right room. The rooms are huge , so clean and had the coldest AC ever!! It was so quiet and we slept like babies on the super comfortable bed. Hotel was in a safe location in walking distance to everything! Janelle was the Kate night bartender at Vacherie . She was awesome!! She stayed open late just for us. I would 100 percent stay here again!

Great staff and location. Historic hotel (comes with some wear and tear but that’s part of the charm). Every staff member we encountered was amazing. Joseph and Keisha made our stay perfect! The cafe has tasty casual food. The pool was refreshing. Right in the corner of bourbon street. We walked all over the quarter and only used a cab to/from the airport. The room was comfortable and most importantly cool with the air conditioning! Highly recommend!

The hotel rooms was clean, the housekeeping was amazing. The front desk staff Keisha was great, and Darron from security was a great help when taxis was needed, etc. The rooms need some updating but that does not deter from having a good stay. Who stays in there room anyway. It was a perfect location. Close to Bourbon street, yet far enough away to not hear all the noise. A little market literally across the street, and a cafe/bar on the first level. I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect all around! Stayed here for a weekend to visit New Orleans. Steps away from the action on Bourbon Street but quiet and quaint. Large room, comfortable beds and cute balcony. Loved the courtyard and pool area which was nicely shaded. Staff were wonderful and always available for restaurant suggestions. Would highly recommend if visiting the French Quarter.

This was a gem to find. The location was great, service was amazing, and the beds were comfy. The balcony and courtyard added to the ambience. It was a little shabby inside, but honestly, it added to the charm. The value can’t be beat. We got home later and there was no problem with noise. Highly recommend!
