⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great time staying at Hotel St Michael on Gurley Street. The classy old time vibe really made the experience special. It felt like stepping back into a more elegant era. The atmosphere was fun and charming throughout. The only downside was that the grill was closed when I visited, but it didn’t take away from the overall stay. I’d definitely come back just for the unique feel and hospitality.

I loved my stay! Extremely comfortable and charming hotel! Barbara was very helpful with accommodating my change in plans, and the whole staff was super friendly! I love that my room had wood floors which is so much better than gross carpet that hotels usually have. I also really loved that my room had a ceiling fan. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. Perfect location to walk around downtown Prescott!

Google
Watch your pricing for the rooms. It is much cheaper to book through a third party than directly through the hotel. I ended up paying $90/night more. Hotel staff also said it's always cheaper that way. It is close to the bars and is great for walking. Rooms are quaint and hotel is beautiful but was not worth the $303/night.

Google
An excellent location for convenience for elderly or people that enjoy the marriage of hotel museum fractures stitched in guest accommodations of earlier life embracing the Silver town mining economy of the 1865. Parking G past 600 pm arrivals in the town square diagonals around the court house are good until 11:00 AM. No need to worry about moving tonight. Have a drink and relax your here.

Google
The location alone is enough, but the cozy rooms, and soft everything was the best. The staff were very friendly and helpful at every turn. So clean and just the best for an old hotel. Didn't even need the earplugs provided! I loved every minute I was there and will definitely stay here the next time I'm in town.||The vibe is pure Western Chill, like the Robert Earl Keen song.

Google
Fantastic location - on Whiskey Row. Historic building, nicely redone - updated and modern but with the historic charm. Everyone was very friendly - service was great! The king bed was really comfortable, the room was clean and cute. Our only complaint was the AC wasn't super good. Towels were new and nice - bathroom was small but very clean. We loved our stay!

Google
Great location. Standard rooms don’t have a view. Our room was very small. You need to upgrade. Friendly service. Spacious bar area. Their breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. Plenty of shops around and in the hotel.

Google
Absolutely cozy little place! I loved it all, the rooms were clean, the service was friendly, and the breakfast was EXCELLENT! I judge biscuits and gravy pretty hard, but this is the closest I've had to what I make at home in a restaurant! The breakfast potatoes were the perfect addition and the coffee was nice and strong. Would stop here again sooner rather than later!

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this charming small town. I visited for New Year's with a couple of friends, and we had an amazing experience. The hotel has a wonderful old-school rustic charm, rich in history, with a vintage-style elevator that adds to its character. Although I was only here for a couple of days, I will definitely be returning. Downstairs, there's a lovely bistro restaurant serving delicious food, and a cozy lounge area where you can enjoy drinks or some of the best hot cocoa. I also discovered a hidden speakeasy beneath the hotel--unfortunately, only as I was leaving! Plus, right next door, there's a delightful bakery. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We recently stayed in a queen room at Hotel St. Michael in December, located at the corner of Gurley Street, right at the end of Whiskey Row. Overall, it's a charming and historic place with a lot of character. The free parking was a huge plus, especially in such a busy and walkable area. One standout feature was the Otis Traction elevator, which is still functional and dates back to 1925--definitely a cool experience and a must ride. The room itself was quaint and cozy, with nice vintage touches. While it lacked a microwave or fridge, they did provide complimentary bottled water, which was a nice gesture. The hotel lobby and bistro downstairs were also lovely spots to hang out. The bistro had a welcoming vibe and offered good food and drinks. Plus, being so close to Whiskey Row meant easy access to all the fun nightlife and shops. Also, since the hotel is on Whiskey Row, I did noticed they do offer earplugs on the nightstand. If you're looking for modern amenities, this might not be the place for you, but if you appreciate history, charm, and a prime location, Hotel St. Michael is a great choice! Would definitely recommend for a unique stay in Prescott!

Yelp
This place was such a gem!! We were in a newly remodeled room. It was absolutely gorgeous. The front desk ladies were so sweet & the lobby bar was absolutely amazing!! It was so cute. Would stay here again! Added bonus- walking distances to all the best places downtown!

Yelp
My friend and I met halfway for a talking, shopping, eating, and drinking expedition in Prescott. No parking is available other than public parking structure a block away. We walked through the bistro, but there's a side door from Gurley St. which has several steps up to the front desk, but later we found the ramp leading to the lobby on the side of the building. Sadly, the elevator was out of order, and our third floor rooms required some exertion to reach. You can feel Prescott's 5,400 ft. elevation, but they immediately brought our luggage up for us. The cheapest rooms are tiny, but my classic queen room was large, with a walk-in closet! and new carpet. The a/c works greatand the room quiet since it faced into an inner courtyard, not the park and Whiskey Row. Service was friendly, and they gave us $2 off coupons for the beautiful, spacious bar lounge filled with comfy leather furniture, and separate from the bistro.

Yelp
This hotel was kinda fun and kinda a pain in the ass. It's super old, cool. It has a great bar and bistro, awesome. It has three stories that you have to either hike or take an old timey elevator. The staff at the front desk were super cool. No ice machines so u have to hike all the way down when u need it. It's connected to lots of shops and has a darling shopping area. Our view was of a brick wall. The rooms are smallish and they have those farm doors for the bathroom that doesn't leave much privacy. The bathroom fan doesn't shut off so we had to listen to it the entire time. Overall it was fun but think I will try something else on my next visit to Prescott.

Yelp
Come up for an overnight stay from the valley, the hotel has been renovated and restored to a great condition, rooms are wonderful and the speakeasy in the basement was the best bar in Prescott!! I highly recommend this hotel!!

Yelp
Seeing lots of mixed reviews here for hotel st. Michael. We just stayed here for one night and had a wonderful time. Yes the prices are pretty steep but luckily we were staying in one of the recently remodeled rooms. It was very nice. The staff was so friendly. There were no fridges in the room but the front desk offered to hold our leftovers and even heat them up for us in the middle of the night. Great location with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Would stay here again.

Yelp
Hotel St. Michael has been around for a long time. I travel to Prescott about 4 times per year and this is an easy place to stay. Their rates are very reasonable although they do fill up at times so reserve in advance. The rooms are just fine - clean and nice. I ask for a room off of the main street so that I don't hear the Whiskey Row noise. In the morning, they get their coffee started early which I completely appreciate. I scoot down to the lobby for a cup. The staff at the desk are always very nice and have great recommendations about new places to try for a drink or a meal. They also have parking at a nearby garage which is free and that's really nice because it can be hard to find a place to park in Prescott. I know that they are redoing the bistro but I've had excellent breakfasts there. I recommend that also. Solid place to stay with good service.

Kristen J.

Yelp
The hotel itself is cool and the people were very nice, but seriously if you cannot do noise and I mean, serious noise, do not stay here. I had earplugs in and these are swimmers earplugs so they're very solid and I could still hear the music through them and the base was shaking our room until 2AM!! I guess our first clue should've been the earplugs the hotel left in our room. Again, if you want to stay here because of location just ask if you're farther away from the back side of the hotel although I'm not sure it would help.

Kristin G.

Yelp
Amy at the front desk was rad. Made us feel welcome and made us laugh. Place was super clean and in great location. We will Come back for sure!

Yelp
I'm sorry but I just had to leave this hotel and head straight to Walgreens to get allergy medications with my eyes swollen and itchy after I stayed here for two nights. Carpet FULL of dust probably bc they don't vacuum - from the looks of it, for months. We opened the window and all the dust inside went flying everywhere - it was appalling and frankly a slap in the face to pay that much for a place that doesn't mind their customers are subjected to that. I hope I don't get the flu. Bye forever.

Yelp
Updated, I think 8 months ago I was just excited to see it after being closed for 2 years due to the unscientific and Draconian COVID lockdowns. Went back today and realized this place is just a shell of its former self. Food was bland and uninspiring, the food is mostly deep fried and cafeteria quality. The staff certainly don't have the flair or personality of the former pre- Covid staff. It felt depressing there, the only thing they can milk is that historic location. They are just going through the motions, food quality is barely average now, sorry to say. Won't be back, too many other good places around now. Ugh, shame.

Yelp
For 160 bucks a night I figured I wouldn't be greeted by pee in the toilet The room is extremely small. The AC I very noisy I thought this place would be a whole lot nicer. The rooms are TERRIBLE and with only 15 guest in the hotel according to the front desk you think you would have a better room than one with a nice view of the building main ac, I guess you need to top 200 for a street view. Have a look at the pictures. I'm extremely disappointed because the pictures on the website look a whole lot different.

Yelp
Made a reservation 5 days in advance. Arrived at the hotel to check in at 5p and the front desk advised us they were overbooked and had no rooms. Terrible experience.

Yelp
We ll go this month. 2 day getaway: Well we arrived early and went antique Shopping on Cortez. We had to call the hotel to park. Public parking off Granite, a block away. That cost a star. The way in the hotel Lobby is in St Michael's Alley passageway from parking bldg. Or up Gurley to the main door. This is a unique 100 year old hotel. Very vintage. We ll be here two nights. Prescott is a time machine town. S step into the past. Special!

Yelp
Very nice spot. We were in a newly-remodeled king room. So everything was new and nice. Bathroom was a tad small but it's an old historic hotel. Location was smack dab in the middle of "Whiskey Row." I will be staying there whenever in Prescott.
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
Haven't even made it here yet and already I'm not happy with this hotel. I made my reservation in January for an end of April stay and they now called to tell me my king room will be under construction. When asked if every king room is under construction they said "no, just certain ones". They said mine was assigned to me in advance. So someone who may have booked their king room last week gets a king but because I made my reservation months in advance, I get kicked out. I guarantee they raised the rates since I booked and can get more money now for a king room. Really crappy way to run a "top tier" hotel.

Stephan H.

Yelp
Great location and parking was easy. Only downside was the room was near the stairs, so we heard people walking on the wood stairs a lot

Doris B.

Yelp
Another amazing stay at the St Michael! We love this old hotel and the people who work here. Front desk, housekeepers all great people! From setting our reservation to check out, excellent service. Clean comfortable room. We've been staying here for many years and they haven't faltered under new ownership. Also, they now have the lobby bar which is a GREAT addition. My favorite feature is the old elevator, very cool!
google avatar

Glen F.

Yelp
It was nice but whoever checked me in was like no loudness or treating the front desk people rudely. I'm an old man who was by myself and asked her why she would be starting off the check in with that speech. She was like well we have whiskey alley nearby and a lot of people come back drunk and get boisterous and rude. Other than a somewhat rude check in, it was a charming hotel with a charming elevator and beautiful views and close to the main strip.

John B.

Yelp
Good food, reasonable prices, good selection, service acceptable, great location on Whiskey Row

Angela D.

Yelp
I stayed in the hotel and was charged Mutiple times after I had already paid through a third party. I was even charged 4 days after I left and got a OOPS were sorry, very unprofessional, and after I was so patient I was told nothing can be done and I need to contact my card services to resolve the matter. When I rose my voice, I was told I need not raise my voice. So here, we are 8 days later and a charge on my account 4 days after I stayed in the hotel and now, I have to contact my bank. WOW. I had asked for the GM and was told when she finds time she will contact me back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I now have to take my time to shut down a card because of incompetence of not training staff properly. On top of the loss of My mother this week.

Yelp
I was disappointed by this hotel, particularly for the price tag. I have stayed in many old hotels, even those older than this, and they are fantastic on the inside with modern features. I love the charm of an old hotel, but by "old" I don't mean retro - The took itself felt more like a Days Inn from the early 80s. 1980, kids. The furniture was old and beat up, the carpet felt weird, and I'm pretty sure my parents had the same ceiling fan in the living room when I was 6. I had read the hotel was "recently renovated," but maybe that just meant since Wyatt Earp spent the night. But the bed was comfortable. That's something. (To counter the limited hot water, I suppose.) To give it credit, the staff was super friendly, even when we returned home late and witnessed some horribly drunk fools. Also, we weren't visited by ghosts. That's a plus. The location is the selling feature. It is right on Whiskey Row and perfectly walkable. They offer ear plugs to drown out noise, but the 1980s wall unit will blow loud enough to drown out gun shots if need be. The price really is inflated. It was nearly $200/night for a $50 room. They do offer breakfast, but there's no way to not buy that, which sucks because we don't eat bacon and eggs. In the end, it has some neat historic charm but needs and internal makeover something serious.

Yelp
Arrived to find our reservation would not be honored due to "overbooked" situation. Absolutely no remorse show or apology offered. No alternative or recourse offered. "Hit the road, Jack" was basically the vibe we got.
google avatar

Yelp
Historically wonderful. Valentine's Day, one night stay, 19th Anniversary. While their restaurant on premises was closed, we ventured south along Whiskey Row and found what we needed. Room was great. Classic King bed, clean room, clean bathroom, good-sized closet. Amenities nice. Old building is heated by radiator and desk clerk explained how to turn it down and how to operate the timer to the ceiling fan. We were on the third floor, and it was quite warm despite the snow and overnight low of 17 degrees or lower. Because we did not stay on the weekend, price was considerably lower. Stay during weekdays to save. Memorable stay with the overnight snow fall. The staff was totally wonderful. Had breakfast the following morning and the waitress was so bubbly and cheerful and she was the only one on duty. Did not phase her genuinely nice attitude and personality.

Yelp
Historical hotel. Old but clean and comfortable. Location is awesome. Really enjoyed staying here. Check in was easy. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Got a great night sleep. Check out was easy. Staff was friendly. No complaints.

Yelp
Best Hatch Green Chili stew. Whoa! I'm coming back!! I can't believe how delicious it was.

Yelp
Covid precautions compliant establishment: This was our first stay ever in Prescott and we enjoyed it thoroughly. St. Michael's is a very rustic and historic feel even as you approach it from the sidewalk and as you walk through its hallways. The check-in process was a breeze and we appreciate all the precautionary steps taken by the hotel staff. We enjoyed our two nights and would definitely come back again. PS- it was very intriguing to be able to operate the old Otis Elevator without an attendant

Yelp
Prescott has always been one of my favorite AZ towns. I came up every summer as a kid, but had never stayed at Hotel St. Michael before. Hotel St. Michael has stood on the corner of downtown Prescott since 1864. This area is full of rich, old west history, and this hotel showcases all of it. When Whiskey Row burned down in the early 1900s, some of the bricks were recovered, cleaned, and used to rebuild the hotel. You can still see some of the imperfections because of it. The detailed wood work throughout the property shows the intricacy of the architecture from the time. It is located on the north end of Whiskey Row which makes it convenient to shops, restaurants, and night life. Don't want to walk far? That's fine too. There are shops and an excellent bistro right down stairs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I called on our way up because we were running late and there was no issue with a late arrival. Need a hairdryer or an extra bottle of water? Just ask the front desk. We even met the GM at dinner and she was extremely nice, sharing some of the rich history of the hotel and Prescott with us. We will definitely be staying here again (in fact, we already have our next stay booked - and this time we're bringing friends)! We can't see what will come of this historic landmark in the future.

Marie V.

Yelp
This was a wonderful hotel experience. The hotel is old, so don't expect expansive rooms, but it was a nice size, and the bathroom had room to move. Very convenient, very clean, and very friendly staff. Bistro is also good!
google avatar

Yelp
My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday. We had so much fun! The staff is super friendly. The hotel is located right on Whiskey Row, which we partook in. Lots of places to eat and drink around there. We went hiking the next day. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Historic hotel located at the start of Whiskey Row in Prescott. The building is at least 100 years old but our room was updated with Victorian style furniture and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in while traveling. The building is fun to explore the winding halls and what I believe was the first elevator in the state of AZ because Prescott used to be the state capital. You may need to fact check me on the elevator fact but it makes the story better. I have read that the 3rd floor is believed to be haunted by a lady of the night. I did not have any paranormal experience but with the age of the building and the history of the area immersed in Western and mining culture I don't doubt the fable one bit. The lower level is home to a restaurant Bistro St. Michael which was pretty good for the two breakfasts we enjoyed there. Also in the area are several small shops with art and craft souvenirs available. Shops close early. The one downfall of our stay was the rotary meeting that took place on a Weds morning and when people were speaking into a microphone the sound travelled through the floorboards and woke us up. Not fun after trying to spend the night on whiskey row. I would stay here again. Enjoy!

Yelp
My wife (Shelly) and I dined at St. Michael Bistro,m. The food was wonderful BUT even more wonderful was Sidney C, our server. Sidney was amazing! She was so sweet and gave us exceptional service!

Yelp
Staying at the hotel Saint Michael's an experience you're going back to 1901 with better service clean rooms and great staff. Remember the hotel is over 100 years old and on Whiskey Row. The energy is good and so close to everything.

Yelp
What a cute old hotel. I made a reservation cause the town is quaint and I wanted to stay in an old, quaint hotel. I think that part of my desire was cause I was told the hotel was built sometime in the 1800s. Maybe the late 1800s?? Eric was at the front desk. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel does come with a free breakfast at the adjacent Bistro St. Michael, which I reviewed under separate review. The hotel is connected to numerous shops, which, unfortunately, close at 5:00 and don't open till 10:00 a.m. That includes a lot of the shops on Whiskey Row, which is where this place is located. One can park on the street till 10 a.m., but if one doesn't want to have to worry about getting a ticket, there is a parking garage next door. And to load one's car, there is a loading dock right in front of the hotel. Everything is eazy peezy. Checkout is 11 a.m. I had gone shopping -- another review on that later -- and I wanted to see if I could check out later than 11:00. No, was the curt response by the oh so not very friendly front desk clerk. I was told, since it was a weekend -- This was actually Friday morning -- that I had to be out by 11:00. Actually, I didn't quite make the checkout by 11:00 and my door key locked me out. I had to go back to the front desk to get the key reactivated, which that desk clerk was quite apologetic and friendly. The rooms are small and very basic, clean. I usually like to have coffee when I wake up. There is coffee service in the lobby at 6:00 a.m. And I' m sure they don't want people traipsing down there in one's PJs. And since I asked for a quiet room, I had an interior room, which look directly at another building (part of the hotel I think) and into someone else's room, which means I had to close the drapes if I wanted to do something I didn't want other people to see. Would I stay there again? Dunno. I think I'm spoiled and like the comforts I'm used to, but it is rather quaint, just like the town.

Tony F.

Yelp
Great experience I will definitely be back the room was clean and staff were friendly! The original elevator is definitely the vibe! The haunted aspect adds to the vibe also

Yelp
I love this hotel, bar and restaurant. My go to for a girls night out or a special celebration! The staff is amazing!

Yelp
My second visit here. I spent 5 nights here recently in Room 210. It's a nice room, compact, and clean. You get free wi-fi, and a decent channel selection on the TV. Abundant clean towels and toiletries were in the bathroom. Your view out the window is not the street, but of the exterior of the other wing of the place. My rate from 1/12 to 1/17 was about 80.00 per night. This included the excellent breakfast at the bistro next door. You can get generous portions of eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, potatoes and coffee or juice. Can't beat it. Check out the neat shopping arcade next door. It's not a cookie cutter place, like the corporate hotels. If you are going to Prescott, this is worth considering.

Yelp
The bistro Xpress has falafel and a couple Gyro wraps. I would stick with the falafel and not the wrap ....the meat was weirdly (heavy) seasoned and tasted nothing like anything I've ever had it gave me a stomachache. The french fries are incredible. In regards to the restaurant next-door used to be wonderful had good food reasonably priced now the food is good (average)but it's pretty freaking expensive three or four times what it used to be. It went up about four years ago, I go to another place for breakfast
google avatar

Randy W.

Yelp
Horrible service. Bloody Marie's are made from what tastes like clam juice with way to much horseradish . We could only handle small sips.Took 15 min to get those. After asking about and ingredient our server did not return for 5 min. We wanted to return the bloodies but after the wait. We left a 20.00 to pay for drinks. Leaving a tip of 5.00 just so we did not have to wait for change and walked out. Was not busy plenty of seating. Plenty of staff just poor service.

Yelp
First time staying in Prescott and we loved it! The hotel was so unique with a grand staircase, quaint lobby, and a totally awesome elevator! My husband and I had so much fun exploring the hotel and shops on the main floor. The Bistro in the hotel was absolutely delicious and we had $5 off our breakfast meal included with the room price. Our room was clean and we had a nice view of the beautiful Courtyard Plaza. We are actually considering getting a new bed after sleeping in the incredibly soft bed that was in our hotel room. Staff was friendly and polite and even gave us suggestions on where to go and what to do Downtown Prescott. Wonderful experience, hope we can stay here again sometime.

Yelp
My wife and I spent three July 2021 nights at the St. Michael Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is historic, well located, clean and economical, with the friendliest staff -- kudos to Lacie! -- we have ever encountered. Not only do we recommend it, we plan to return there. Free parking is also a plus and, after we initially parked the car, didn't enter it again until it was time to leave!! Everything -- don't miss the Sharlot Hall Museum -- is within easy walking distance.

Yelp
For the price, this was an excellent stay. I saw some people were paying almost $200/night. We came in on a Sunday night because we had to pick up our RV 20 minutes away from here. So, this was purely for convenience. Our Hotel.com rate was $89 for a king bed or $79 for a queen and we opted in for a king. With taxes and fees, total came out to just under $100. There's speculation that this hotel is haunted, especially on the third floor or around the elevator. We had no experience indicating it was, other than an unusual nightmare of someone trying to kill us outside the hotel. But other than that - totally normal. I wasn't a fan of the color they painted the doors & trim - just added more blandness. But, I highly respect the attempts at keeping this place as original as possible. The bed was very comfortable. Besides constantly waking up from my nightmare, I slept pretty well. The town square is precious and I look forward to coming back to explore the town when it's a little more lively after the shutdowns.

Yelp
Very pleasant stay for just one night in an economy room, which is all that was available on a busy weekend. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean room with everything we needed, including a nice shower. Even a ceiling fan, which always helps me sleep. And it has to have the best location in town. I also enjoyed the antique elevator.

Yelp
There is a lot of history in Prescott with most of it centered in the downtown area and The St. Michael is right in the middle of it all. We got there on a slow Sunday and found most of the shops were closed at 6pm. They staff were very welcoming, one lady it was her first night. The parking is right out front of the hotel for a loading and unloading zone and then up the stairs or the ramp to the lobby. A small area with a vintage elevator and coffee were in the lobby. Elevator hint: Open door, slide grate, Enter, Close door, Close Grate, Push hard and hold for a second on your floor. Then open grate, open door, Exit, Close Grate, Close door. Room was medium size with flat screen and warmed by floor heater (Steam?) with a window air conditioner. Our cable box did not work, but about an hour after giving up I unplugged it for half an hour and then it worked. Very old hotel with lots of history. And supposedly lots of ghosts. Our new lobby person was reading about the ghost stories when I accidentally scared her pretty good. (sorry) The ice is kept at the front desk. We did wander the hotel and did not find ghosts but it does appear a lot of the rooms are being upgraded. Very nice and unique place to stay. Pricey, but shop we got a big last minute discount AND upgraded because another couple cancelled their cancellation. Breakfast is included which is a voucher for eggs, bacon or sausage or ham, toast, coffee at the St. Micheal Bistro or if you come after 9am you can use the voucher for a discount.

Yelp
We were in Prescott the week that they got a crazy amount of snow. The Hotel St Michael was a warm and cozy refuge in the storm. I enjoyed the rustic feel and comfy, cozy atmosphere. I will be staying there again the next time I am up north.

Yelp
Came to Prescott for the first time to celebrate my birthday. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a tray providing a bottle of champagne, chocolates, and a birthday card, with a hand written message from the hotel staff. The room was cozy and sparkling clean. The front desk staff was generous and kind. The bistro downstairs was DELICIOUS. plus the breakfast was complimentary! If you're looking for the whiskey row experience, STAY HERE! We even booked our next trip when we checked out because it was so enjoyable.

Yelp
Another wonderful stay at this hotel. We chose it because it is right in the heart of Whiskey Row, where we were doing our race. Easy to checkin, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is superb. I love the old-fashioned, historical vibe to it and our room this time was nice and big. They provide all the basic bathroom amenities, ice, hot coffee, and a free breakfast. I would recommend Hotel St Michael to anyone visiting downtown Prescott and wants a unique hotel experience.

Yelp
Great great location! Walk to everything. Room clean, front desk service good. The price you pay for the great location is--1) the hotel is dated--most notably the bathrooms--tiny, and sinks very low to the floor. 2) There is some street noise on weekends--didn't bother us, but it might others 3) Mattress old -had the dreaded body impressions. (Note, I find this problem in many hotels, no matter how upscale. Many people aren't bothered by them, but difficult for me)
