I booked a superior double room but got assigned a tiny attic room with very low ceiling. In fact, if I was a tall person, I wouldn’t even be able to fit into the shower. The room didn’t look like the one they advertised on booking.com. Aside from the tiny low ceiling room, the service is good. The breakfast was great. Location is great.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. There are positive and negative about this hotel. The hotel is difficult to access by car/taxi. Its entrance is at a steep climb which could be hazardous for elderly people especially during wet conditions. The double bed could be challenging for 2 adult persons. The good side is that the hotel location is perfect for all the tourist attractions. It is clean and it’s staff (and especially Omer) is vey helpful and went out of their way to assist us. We will probably will not go again because we are seniors and concern about the potential danger of the steep ramp at its entrance. However we will miss the hospitality of the staff and the marvellous free breakfast

It is wonderful and very cosy boutique hotel in historical building near Hagia Sophia. Before booking we have viewed a lot of variants, but always we returned in our selection to this hotel. So I can state that for us – it is best place to stay. And sound of Trams and Hagia Sophia became very friendly and memorable for us during our staying. Staff of the hotel is very friendly and can help in any case. Thanks for all!

Nice hotel in a very central location, about as close as you can get to the most popular sites. That does mean it's a tourist-heavy area, so the nearby stores and restaurants are all targeted toward that audience. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side and showed its age in places, but not unreasonable given the central location, and it was well-maintained. The hotel is in a pedestrian zone, but you only have to walk a block or two for car access. Overall a very good option for a first time visit to Istanbul.

I highly recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful stay and would love to stay here again in the future. Perfectly located- a few minute walk to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, basilica cistern, and Topkapi palace. Even though, it’s centrally located, it is quiet and a perfect retreat. The beds are very comfortable and the AC works amazing. The shower has great water pressure. The breakfast is amazing. What really made our stay special is the staff. The staff made this hotel feel like home away from home. They took great care of us especially Enes. Thank you so much!

Overall a decent experience with this hotel. Pros: located next to several popular attractions, a park, and plenty of restaurants. The tram rail is also very close. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Cons: The entrance to the hotel is up a few cobble stone stairs up a hill which was a bit difficult to get luggage up. Also, the street that the hotel is located on, Ubers and taxis are not allowed to drive on so we were dropped off at the bottom of the hill and had to carry our luggage up the cobble stone street. The hotel room was a bit smaller than I was anticipating. There was a nail sticking up in the floor that we had to have them come in a fix so we didn't step on it. The shower door did not close all the way so the bathroom floor was very wet after taking a shower.

Everything about this hotel was great and you are only steps away from the major sites. The service however was exceptional. I asked whether or not we could have a room with a view and they delivered!! The reception staff was always pleasant and helpful. Each morning Ramanzan our waiter would greet us with a friendly face and took great care of us. It was impossible to have a bad day after that.
