Hotel Stara Lika

Location great. Food excellent. Service top. Rooms spacious and clean. Very close to many sites. We had awesome steak for dinner and a versatile breakfast in accordance to our food allergies. Hospitality beyond words. Must visit: Nikola Tesla museum, the only cave park in Europe Grabovaca, river Gacka spring, national park Velebit, Paklenica, Krka... We will definitely return.

At 63, my first time visiting Croatia and my cousins so we wanted a central location and Hotel Stara Lika was the ticket! Extremely friendly staff checked us in quickly and offered free parking. The room was immaculate and considering how hot it was outside, our efficient air conditioning was a welcome relief. Very comfortable room. Bathroom was very nice but using the hand-held shower was a bit tricky. Very nice breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed for one night on our way to Croatia at this relative new and well equipped hotel which offered everything needed in a clean and modern standard. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with a local sweet, plus it was no issue at all to arrive late. The room & bed was comfy and clean. Private parking with a gate was possible. Right next to the hotel a bank and supermarket can be found which makes this hotel really ideal for a one-night stay on your journey through Croatia

Everything was really great, food, service, rooms.... the restaurant offers really delicious food and the breakfast is great and versatile. The service is also really great. The waiter in the restaurant will fullfil all your wishes. The rooms are big and clean as well as the bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. This hotel is definitely worth visiting and there are so many interesting things to see and visit very close to the hotel.

The room was amazing! We booked the King Suite but did not expect it to be so clean, well-maintained and spacious. The highlight of our stay was definitely the jacuzzi in the huge bathroom. The hotel restaurant was good. Staff is very friendly.

We were driving from Mostar to Budapest and we needed to make an stop and take a rest. We stopped in Gospic at midnight trying to find an hotel and we found this. SUPER hotel, amazing, everything was perfect, the breakfast was very good and we think they opened early for us, because we still need to drive almost 600 km more. The room was perfectly, everything clean, and the staff didn't speak very well english but he did the BEST as possible and made everything perfect. We think we were the only guest in the hotel, but everything perfect.||||Our room was in the last floor and the roof was like a triangle.. I crashed many times with the roof... but is my fault.||||I hope I will come back for enjoy the hotel, and check the city and the Tesla museum soon.

We stayed one night on our way to Plitvice Lakes. Very nice building, helpful personnel, amazing room, brand new and spacious. Nice quality of sleep. Quiet area and surroundings. Nice dinner, served in a kind of private hall, under the roof. Basic, satisfactory breakfast.

I am staying here as part of a tour group. After day exploring plitvicka lakes and waterfalls this hotel is great. Efficient check in. Rooms are large, very well appointed. Wood panelling and large wardrobe. ||Bathroom very spacious, my room has all new fittings. Large bathroom mirror. Lots of room in the bathroom is a real pleasure. ||Restaurant on 2 floor and as tour group dinner and breakfast included. Loved the evening meal with pan fried trout. ||Hotel is in old town stara means old. It’s on the main road and there’s a lidl in gospic.
