Hotel Stayen

The hotel corresponds to its three stars, the rooms are clean, but there are no robes or slippers in the room, the service is responsive, the location is not bad, in the same building there is a shopping center, everything you might need is right at hand.

Spacious rooms ...a great experience for footbal fans...in stead of a room with a mountain or seaside view, you have direct access to the football stadium. Original!

Stayed in the only room avail and was a Skybox Room. Did not know it was with a view on the "famous" football "playground" of Sint-Truiden. Anyhow, was a nice experience but some limitations. Were not allowed to sit outside in the restaurant but managed to do so by ordering drinks and taking them outside ourselves. The skybox is a concept room to my opinion. Stayed on the 5th floor with view on the empty playgrounds. Price quality not worth but nice anyhow. Staff in the restaurant very rude, staff at the hotel was very helpful. Paid parking, not included in the room charges.... Overall, once but not twice ||These spacious 40m² rooms located in the exclusive West Tribune come with a private dinning area that doubles as a workspace. There is a mini kitchinette with complimentary water and plenty of storage space. A striking feature image frames the top quality box spring mattress dressed with high quality bedding.

Room nice, reception nice and helpful. Room has direct view to Football stadion inside, very nice. Only negative point is Restaurant service, terrible and slow, we waited for the waitor for around 1 hour and my colleages asked the young man for several times for ordering and not come. He destroyed the wonderful night.

You don’t need an alarm while staying in this hotel. Cleaning ladies start very early and they are so loud that you won’t sleep at all. They are shouting, laughing, knocking… It tells a lot about service and sound isolation of the rooms.

A strange set up built within the Stayen Football Stadium behind one goal. The reception is at one end of the stand and the rooms a considerable distance away at the other end. To reach our room we had to take a lift up two floors and walk the length of the stand to another lift. The room was clean and well furnished but quite stark and functional. the bathroom was good and the bed comfortable. The hotel has a spa and pool as well as a restaurant and bar although it was closed at 23.00 when we arrived back in the evening, however the Kanarie Bar over the road was very open. There is car parking under the hotel at a small cost. The only staff we met were on the front desk and were charming and helpful. St Truiden centre is about 15 mins walk as is the station. It did the job but could have been so much better.I felt it was a bit pricey for what it was.

Super location, rooms are not that spacious. Also finding rooms needs some practice and time, you can get lost if you don't listen carefully to the reception. Cleannes generally okay. Breakfast is nice but not that cheap.

We freezed all night long, no extra blanket. This hotel is not good for dogs as there is no potty spot. No room service, the view of the room was a wall. Noisy. 😢

Hotel is in good repair and well maintained. The layout is odd because it's wrapped around a soccer stadium and has working offices in it. Speak workable English. The room is minimalist in style but well appointed. Clean. Front desk staff is not overly friendly and are helpful to a point but won't go out of their way to help. Needed some pants and shirts ironed and it became a huge hassle. Don't even ask about dry cleaning or getting change for a large bill! Breakfast was included in our rate and it's good. Not sure I will stay here again but if you need to be in this location it's ok.

We have relatives in Sint Truden, so we need a place to stay when visiting. Usually stay at the Cincindria, but alas it is closed. The Stayen is located a short taxi ride from the train station, next to the football (soccer) stadium. It is a huge complex. The rooms are average size and fully tiled shower room. flat screen tv and coffee/tea making kettle. The staff speaks English and are helpful. There is a grocery store in the lower level of the building. Breakfast is not included in rate.
