Hotel Steiner

I just left the Hotel Steiner after they hosted a weekend wedding for dear friends who were getting married. It was spectacular. Rooms are so well appointed and spacious. No request was too big or too small. Spotlessly clean, views for days, and most importantly: you felt like family. The staff were beyond kind, friendly, intuitive. The owners nothing short of amazing. Thank you Hotel Steiner for such an amazing experience.

Excellent stay with quick booking and very friendly staff who gave us a full hotel tour. Rooms were great with mountain views better than photos. Outstanding food and service. Top-notch spa with amazing views and a pool that exceeded expectations. One of my best experiences in the Austrian Alps. Would definitely consider returning!

Just spent a 7 days stay at Steiner hotel with large family of 9. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel with great facilities. The room were comfortable with all desired amenities. Food was good for most days and excellent for a couple other days. The staff overall was excellent, very friendly and hospitable which helped us enjoy the our time at the hotel. The hotel is very family friendly with a kids play area and separate adults and family spas each with their own pool to enjoy. Access to the slopes was very easy with ski in and out to the door across the road. Access to the hotel internationally can be a little challenging especially on weekends.

Great hotel with kindly staff, tasty dishes, good spa. Highly recommend! Hope get back soon.

Simply the BEST hotel in Obertauern. The „Steiner“ is perfectly located across the street with direct access to the slopes.|Family Steiner has invested big time over the last years to improve the overall appearance of the hotel - new adults spa, new rooms, new lobby, new kids area, new restaurant - and every single piece is just supernice: Modern and still timeless at the same time - and most of it all it brings across a „cozy feeling“ from the moment you enter the hotel.|We keep on traveling to Hotel Steiner since 25 years now and I would simply not go anywhere else.|But what would the best „infrastructure“ in a hotel like this be without the people behind? Thomas and Andrea Steiner - the passion that they show for their guests AND their „Herzglut“ team (this is how they call their own team) is OUTSTANDING. You have to travel a lot to see such an owner family also having such a great and loyal (no surprise that so many staff members are there for ages……) team.|We simply love this place and for us it feels like our „second home“ during winter time. Thank you for everything @team Herzglut and we already look forward to the next winter season

We have just spent the most amazing few days at Hotel Steiner for a friends wedding.The whole experience was magical from the moment we arrived at the hotel.The staff are friendly and professional and nothing is too much for them.The food and beverages are really high quality and an amazing choice of food.The facilities are excellent with a great spa and massages were excellent.The adult only pool was great.Super clean rooms and facilities.this is the only hotel to stay in in Obertauern.

We had a great stay at hotel Steiner. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, particularly in the restaurant and at reception. The food was delicious and the restaurant was smart but easy going. They have a deal with a local ski rental shop which meant that we didn’t have to drop our skis back which was really nice on the last day and enabled us to have time to ski on our last morning. The hotel central areas/ spas have been beautifully renovated with very high attention to detail. I believe the hotel was nearly at capacity while we were there but the facilities didn’t feel overloaded at all. Finally - we didn’t go with kids, but if you have them and are considering going, GO. We saw 4-5 separate areas designed for kids to enjoy including a huge indoor sandpit/ water play area, an indoor kids gym with a climbing wall and slides, a games centre with table football etc, a karaoke booth and an arts and crafts room. They offer free child care during the day to children over 3. At dinner there was an ice cream sundae buffet which looked like a kids dream!There is a separate adults only spa and pool if you’re not up for being splashed etc but all the children we came across were immaculately behaved. 10/10 would recommend the Steiner and Obertauern, thank you so much to all the very hard working staff and family Steiner

Wow, just returned from a week's skiing in obertauern and was fortunate enough to have stayed at The Steiner, what a fantastic hotel. The place is absolutely amazing,clean and a fantastic location. It's really family friendly and the staff were all very professional and very helpful, the swimming pool and the spa were great as the kids a were allowed to use all facilities, this hotel has been well thought out and the play areas are out of this world. The food was plentiful and very well thought out. I will definitely return one day.
