Sternen Muri

Our family stayed here on a trip to Bern and had a great experience. Google was a little off on driving directions, but were able to navigate our way to the entrance and parking garage. The parking garage had plenty of space and was easy to access. It also had automatic doors which made carrying our luggage very easy. ||It was also very easy to get to the Town Center with the bus/trolley system (7 minute ride). The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was also wonderful and we left full and ready for the day. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Bern.

Had a family room, very spacious and good bed. Nice showers. |Breakfast was nice, you can choose your own eggs made from the kitchen. ||The first days where hot, we got fans that helped a lot.||Overall a very good stay with 3 kids, 7y, 4y and 10mo. Slide on the outside was fun.

I made an enquiry about travel before our visit and was impressed with the service I got then. |On arrival, Laura at reception made us very welcome and was extremely helpful. We were able to go to our room early which was welcome as it was extremely hot.|The room was clean and comfortable and although there was no air conditioning, an excellent fan was provided.|A very pleasant stay in a welcoming and comfortable hotel, convenient for both buses and trams

We had a premium room with a good terrace and a nice view of the alps in the distance. Hotel is right by the tram stop to the city centre, 10 minutes trip, running very 10 minutes. Parking was easy, underground on site. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was very good and a nice outdoor area for dinner. Highly recommend.

If I could give it zero stars, I would which is ironic because the name of the hotel literally means "stars”. I stayed at this hotel just outside of Bern during a heatwave, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Nowhere during the booking process did it clearly state that the rooms do not have air conditioning. For $250 a night, this lack of transparency is unacceptable. The room was unbearably hot, and the only solution offered was two small fans that barely worked—they would randomly stop and start again, which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. We booked a room for one night to rest after a road trip and we ended up being more exhausted in the morning than when we arrived. For a hotel charging premium prices, this level of discomfort is simply not okay. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re expecting even a basic level of comfort or a restful night—especially in the summer.

Very nice Hotel with beautiful rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. A public transport free daily ticket was included in the price: this is a very important plus, since the hotel is not within a walking distance from the city center (but it is very close to the tram stop). Highly recommended

Stayed here for 1 night during a trip around Switzerland. Parking available in their own underground car park accessed right next to the hotel, plenty of spaces & seems secure. The room itself was large, nice balcony, A/C provided, bathroom large enough with all you need and clean. Only issue was the mattress was incredibly soft to the point it almost disappeared under any weight, might be great for some but if you prefer a firm mattress then you might be in for an uncomfortable night. Likewise the pillows thin. Access into the city couldn't be easier, a tram stop literally on the doorstep taking you into the centre. Reception can issue tickets for free public transport. Didn't get chance to try the restaurant but looked nice with extensive outdoor seating too.
