As soon as you step in you breath another era. The hotel is packed with furniture, paintings and objects collected during centuries and has much personality. Staff is very kind and helpful. Good breakfast. The room was clean and very well kept though there were no plugs next to the bed. With Bern ticket Bern is just 10/15 minutes away by bus and Koniz is very nice, full of shops and restaurants and close to the park. I had to keep the windows more closed than what I wanted because of traffic but once closed the noise stopped disturbing me. Good wifi.

Nice location, very close to public transportation and amenities, supermarkets, about 12 minutes from Bern. Clean, comfortable rooms and good breakfast with simple but high quality food. Cozy restaurant and breakfast area. Nice patio and friendly, helpful staff.

Hotel Sternen suits you well if almost everything you need is a good sleep for several nights.|The rooms are pretty big and nicely decorated. There're a bed, a wardrobe, a table with some chairs, a small coffee machine, TV, a hair dryer, a pretty good bathroom and a personal safe box there (!). |It might be a bit noisy in the room as soundproofing seems to be not good but for me it's not a problem as I guess even Apocalypse can't wake me up :D |For breakfasts you can have yogurts, cornflakes, fruits, boiled eggs, jams,chocolate pastas, croissants (very tasty ones), some types of bread, meat and cheese, milk, juices, tea, coffee. Pretty cool and personally I like it but it might be not good if you plan to stay in the hotel for more than a week.|The personnel is always nice, location is also pretty good (15-20 min from the center on 10 bus or an hour by foot).|

Clean and functional rooms above bar/restaurant. Paid about £100/night for a twin room, would say about 3 star max. Room had TV but no aircon (there was a fan). No fridge or minibar.||Bathroom no frills but clean and functional, shower good.||Staff nice and friendly and spoke good English.||Our room was 115, back corner and looked out onto the back of a warehouse where the staff like to stand and smoke, not very pretty. A fair bit of noise at night which is not great as windows need to be open as no aircon.||Outside the bar is a square with trees and a water trough where all the local drunks seem to spend there day drinking, quite unpleasant.||About a 15 min trip on number 10 bus into Berne City Centre (we never paid for the bus, haha! )

I almost visit all the hotels in bern, and this one, located outside the city limits, it is quite good. A connection with city center is available via bus 10 or train s6, both at foot distance. the hotel is over one restaurant, but no bad smell. only 6 free parking lot, free wifi, breakfast is not included. room is was very small, the price is high compared to the service, but it is quite common in bern. bed was very comfortable, the room very clean. the room sun-blinding is not so effective and there is some noise in the morning from the street

room is quite clean and comfortable, but if it is facing to the main street, it would be quite noisy at night. in case there is no other room to change, the best solution is to prepare the ear plugs😄 the breakfast is very good here,18chf per person.

The priority here seems to be the restaurant, rather than the hotel. My single room was large, but very over priced even by Bern standards - no air-conditioning, minibar, etc, and a little bit tatty. This would be a two star guesthouse maximum.
