Hotel Storyville

Absolutely loved everything about staying at this place. Barbara was a gem. She knows a lot about the area and was very informative, the rooms were cleaned immaculately, Hands down you won’t find a host like her anywhere else..from the moment we got to the entry gate leading to the door I knew this place had true character. From the front yard to the back was a beautiful setting. My sister, my mom and I hung out in the courtyard garden area it was relaxing It was nice and quiet at night after a long day of adventures. We ate several times at the port of call. It is in walking distance of the hotel.. thank goodness because their hurricanes was something else! We were there 4 nights and I was so sad when it was time to go home to Charleston SC. I will be staying here again!

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times! I absolutely love it! It’s close enough to be able to walk, but far enough from the downtown area that you aren’t able to hear all the commotion! Always clean! The bed in the octopus room is AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE. Gated parking. The absolute nicest host that you can speak to directly over the phone. No dealing with 1-800 numbers or robots. My family will stay here every time!

I have visited New Orleans countless times over the years and I refuse to stay anywhere else but Storyville Hotel. The price is greatly affordable and the location is perfect for anyone looking to have a true New Orleans experience. In addition to its uniquely themed colors/decor, each room is clean and equipped to meet every need that one could possibly have. The grounds are safe and the customer service is excellent. Barbara, the owner, is responsive, kind & very accommodating. She is committed to making sure I am comfortable whilst I am there and most importantly, that I have a good time! Every time I stay, it feels like I am staying with family & friends. That’s the Storyville experience!!

I posted a review here which shows a bad experience. I was grieving the loss of my wife. The time we did go was wonderful. I had to cancel the last one because my wife passed away. I sent Barbara a request of a refund. She said yes. I lost track of things and heard no more from her. I thought that she had changed her mind and I was angry for no reason. She spent over a year tying to get in touch. I had changed phones and lost contact. I finally found her and she had been trying to answer me. My fault entirely. If you folks do business with her, you will be happy.

The hotel room was very clean, I had a great time. Would definitely go back..🙂🙂 I will be traveling soon and will definitely rebook . Barbara is the owner she was very helpful. She took care of everything that I needed. The hotel is walking distance to the quarter.. I tell al my friends and family about Hotel Storyville

This hotel is a diamond in the rough. Great hotel. Clean and quiet. Owner is very friendly and helpfull. Cheap private parking lot. All in all, a great place for a visit

This was by far the best girls trip! Barbara (owner) is amazing... definitely the hostest with the mostest!! The location is the very convenient to everything... walking distance to Bourbon St.. the casino... and the market. Hotel Storyville is clean, affordable and convenient. I will not stay anywhere but here.... I coming back to ya NOLA... soon ☺️

Stayed here for a day or two after Hurricane Ida it was thankfully one of the few places with vacancies and electricity. The price was fairly low, I think I booked on either Priceline or Airbnb I can't remember exactly. The price was very reasonable, especially for the closeness to the Quarter and the fact that there was hardly anywhere to stay in the city at the time. I like that it had a kitchen and utensils so we were able to cook our meals.
